Objective:objective to the effect of desceding angle of distal iliac on the acetabulum after salter innominate osteotomy.Materials and methods:selected 82 hips in 64 patients who underwent SIO for the treatment of DDH,the age of patients was between 14-66 month old;Preoperative radiographs including acetabular index(AI),acetabular index of depth(AID),acetabular index of width(AIW).And postoperative radiographs were taken at 1 day to measure the parameters of acetabular index(AI),acetabular index of depth(AID),acetabular index of width(AIW),And postoperative radiographs were taken at 1 days to measure the parameters of AI,AID,AIW,lateral rotation angle(LRA).compare AI,AIW,AID before and after surgery. The difference values of the data with significant difference results were calvulated before and after surgery. The relationship between the difference values of the data and LRA was analyzed.Based on the relationship between the difference values of shifting and LRA,the scatter diagram was made,Using LRA as dependent variable and difference values of AI as independent variable to make univariate linear regression. In order to study the relationship between age and the LRA.We use LRA as dependent variable and age as independent variable to makeunivariate linear regression. In order to analyze the effect of sexual distinction on the LRA.We divided the patient samples into the male and the female groups, using the t-test to analysis of difference of the LRA in two groups. In order to analyze the difference between the lift and the right of LRA,we divided them into the left group and the right group, using the t-test to analysis of difference of the LRA in two groups. Results:The difference of AI between before and after surgery have statistical significance(P<0.05).There is no statistical difference of AIW between before and after surgery(P>0.05).There is no statistical difference of AID between before and after surgery(P>0.05).The difference values of the data of AI has linear correlation with LRA(P< 0.01).There was a positive correlation between the age and the LRA(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the male group and the female group(P > 0.05),and there was no significant difference between the left group and the right group(P > 0.05).Conclusion:The LRA is affected by age and there is a positive correlation between the age and the LRA(P<0.05).but not affected by sex, left or right.after salter innominate osteotomy(SIO).It suggests that the older the children, the greater the LRA during the operation. The difference values of the data of AI has correlation with LRA after salter innominate osteotomy(SIO),but it did not affect of AID and AIW.It suggests that the direction of the acetabulum have changed effectively after salter innominate osteotomy(SIO).But salter innominate osteotomy(SIO)can not change the AID and AIW.The downward movement of the distal iliac end is the main reason affecting the downward rotation of the acetabulum and the change of the slope of the top of the acetabulum.
