| Objective To develop and evaluate the reliability and validity of the Assessment Questionnaire of Exposure to Sunlight Activities for Students,which was useful to Chinese students.To provide an effective evaluation and reference tool for student’s myopia prevention and control.Methods The original questionnaire contained 25 items according to the global related research ecological and combined with China’s youth life and learning environment.A total of 3 593 school students were selected from primary and middle school in Shen Yang surveyed by the AQESAS,The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were evaluated by Cronbach’s alpha coefficient,split-half reliability coefficient,confirmatory factor analysis and so on.Results Though the project analysis,the AQESAS was composed of 23 items,including 5 major dimensions,outdoor activities awareness(6 items),outdoor physical activity frequency(4 items),outdoor physical activity time(4 items),exposure to sunlight awareness(5 items),exposure to sunlight activities(4 items).Split-half reliability coefficient,cronbach’s alpha coefficient and test-retest reliability coefficient of the AQESAS were 0.857,0.915,0.906.There was significant gender difference of AQESAS total score of junior middle school(P<0.05).Restricted cubic spline model analysis showed that the relationship between the AQESAS total score and myopia in the students(χ2=253.36,P<0.05).Conclusion The AQESAS has a good reliability and validity,it can be used to assessment the exposure to sunlight adolescents activities of students. |
