Objective:To learn the current situation of co-infection with HIV and Cryptosporidium or Blastocystis hominis in guangxi,,and the genotype of Cryptosporidium.To provide a basis for the prevention of co-infection with HIV and Cryptosporidium or Blastocystis hominis.Methods:Stool samples were collected from 285 HIV/AIDS patients in seven major cities of Guangxi from July 2013 to May 2014.The stools were collected in potassium dichromate and kept at 4 ℃ refrigerator.All patients were confirmed in the local center laboratory for screening HIV/AIDS according to the National Guideline for Detection of HIV/AIDS.Cryptosporidium was detected by the method of DNA extraction,and amplified the complete sequences of the 18s rRNA gene by nested polymerase chain reaction(Nested PCR),gene sequencing and phylogenetic tree was constructed to determine the genotype.Blastocystis hominis was detected by improved acid ether centrifugal sedimentation method to understand the infection rate of Blastocystis hominis of HIV/AIDS patients in guangxi.Results:1)The Cryptosporidium infection rate was 0.70%(2/285)in search group and 0%(0/150)in control group,there was no significantly difference in different group(P<0.05).The two cases combined chronic diarrhea and the genotype were C.andersonis and C.hominis respectively.2)The infection rate of Blastocystis hominis was 20.70%,there was no significantly difference in different gender,age,nationality and occupation(P<0.05).The infection rate in Nanning,Guilin,Hechi,Qinzhou,Baise was 2.27%,13.48%,22.48%,26.67%,46.67%respectively,significantly difference was found in different cities(P<0.05).Conclusion:The infection rate of Cryptosporidium in HIV/AIDS patients was low in Guangxi relatively.The genotype were C.andersonis and C.hominis.The infection rate of Blastocystis hominis in HIV/AIDS patients was high in Guangxi and the infection rate maybe different by regions,but no significantly difference was found in different gender,age,nationality and occupation.
