Objective:To investigate the risk factors for recurrence of common bile duct stones after stone removal by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP).Methods: Retrospective analysis of the clinical data of patients diagnosed with common bile duct stones in our hospital from May 2013 to May 2016,and stone removal by ERCP.Among them, recurrence of choledocholithiasis after stone removal was used as observation group, and no recurrence was found as a control group.Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was performed on the basic data of the two groups of patients to observe the recurrence of common bile duct stones after ERCP extraction and related risk factors. Results:There were 286 patients who met the inclusion criteria and 42patients(14.69%)had recurrence. The control group was compared with the observation group,age(58.93±15.77 years vs 63.71±12.80 years,P=0.035),juxtapapillary diverticulum(27.5% vs 45.2%,P=0.020),common bile duct diameter(14.30± 5.67 mm vs 16.55±5.55 mm,P=0.018),gallstone diameter(10.78±6.83 mm vs 14.86±6.33 mm,P<0.01),endoscopic gallstone removal(35.0% vs 55.2%,P=0.040),the number of stone removal by ERCP was ?2times in a single visit(10.2% vs 23.8%,P=0.013).Logistic regression analysis showed that gallstone diameter(OR=1.107,95%C.I.1.037-1.182,P=0.002)was an independent risk factor for recurrence of common bile duct stones after ERCP.Conclusion:Age,juxtapapillary diverticulum, common bile duct diameter, gallstone diameter, endoscopic gallstone removal, and the number of stone removal by ERCP was ?2 times in a single visit were closely related to the recurrence of common bile duct stones after ERCP extraction.
