| Objective To analyze the prognostic risk factors of patients with candidaemia. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted from April 2005 to December 2009 and February 2014 to June 2016 in Qilu Hospital for hospitalized patients with candidaemia. The general characteristics, underlying diseases, risk factors,ICU hospitalization time and total hospitalization days were collected. The patients were divided into the survival group and the death group, and the prognostic risk factors were compared and analyzed. Results A total of 33 patients were included. The pathogens were Candida parapsilosis(n=8,24.2%),Candida albicans(n=7,21.1%),Candida glabrata(n=8,24.2%),Candida tropicalis(n=7,21,1%),Candida krusei(n=2,6.1%),Candida famata(n=1.3.0%).There were 18 cases in the survival group and 15 in the death group, with the mortality rate of 45.5%.There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender, underlying diseases, invasive operation, hormone use, blood transfusion and hospitalization time. There was also no significant difference in body temperature and white blood cell count. There were significant differences in age,APACHE II score,SOFA score, septic shock, serum albumin<35g/L between the two groups(P<0.05).The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that the SOFA score and the occurrence of septic shock were the risk factors for the death of patients with candidaemia. Conclusion The mortality rate of candidaemia is high.Age and the severity of disease are the independent risk factors for the prognosis of candidaemia. |
