ObjectiveTo explore the effect of the doctor-nurse-patient collaborative nursing mode on the self-care ability and the quality of life of the postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer,so as to provide a relatively effective nursing intervention mode for the postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer and to provide a theoretical reference for the improvement of the quality of life after the operation.MethodsIn this study,70 patients who had been diagnosed as laryngeal cancer by pathological examination and underwent laryngology head and neck surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from May 2017 to December 2017 were selected. We used the method of Convenience Sampling to get cases. The patients who were enrolled from May 2017 to August 2017 were divided into control group with 35 people. The patients who were enrolled from September 2017 to December 2017 were divided into intervention group with 35 people. The patients in the intervention group were provided with the doctor-nurse-patient collaborative nursing mode, while the control group was provided with the routine nursing mode. After 1 month and 3 months of the intervention, the self-care ability measurement scale,University of Washington quality of life questionnaire, the social support assessment scale and the related objective evaluation index were used to evaluate the self-care ability, the quality of life and the social support degree of the two groups.Data were analyzed by the following statistical methods such as percentage, mean and standard deviation,Independent—test,Covariance, repetitive measure analysis of variance.ResultsIn this study,65 cases of patients with laryngeal cancer completed data collection, including 32 cases in the intervention group and 33 cases in the control group. The results of the study show that:After one month of intervention, the intervention group was(126.57±13.81)and the control group was(93.07±16.45)for the self-care ability measurement scale, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total scores of University of Washington quality of life questionnaire were(684.24 ± 115.32)and(615.33 ± 134.35)respectively,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of social support evaluation were(38.23 ± 4.33),(36.90 ±4.93)respectively,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).By intervening for three months, the scores of self-care ability in the two groups were(138.20±12.28)and(100.19±10.09),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total scores of University of Washington quality of life questionnaire were(692.32 ± 127.94)and(636.35 ± 139.97)respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of social support assessment were(40.58 ± 3.49)and(36.80 ± 4.88)respectively,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The self-care ability and quality of life of laryngeal cancer patients were positively correlated with each dimension(P<0.05),and social support was positively correlated with the quality of life(P<0.05).Conclusion:Collaborative doctor-nurse-patient nursing intervention is an effective postoperative nursing mode for patients with laryngeal cancer, which can significantly increase the self-care ability and social support of the postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer, and improve the quality of life of the patients. It can be applied to patients with laryngeal cancer after operation.
