With the development of advanced technology,the public hospitals in our country have applied advanced technology to manage their routine activities.At the same time,with the reform of China's medical system,the competition between public hospitals is not only the competition between pharmaceutical products and brand image,but also the competition of channels.Financial management is one of the core issues of public hospital management.Throughout the world,almost all the large public hospitals with great importance and influence,have adopted innovation in the way of financial management as a major breakthrough and improvement direction in their new round of competition.Among them,the financial management mode of financial sharing service support center,which integrates capital flow and information flow,has become an inevitable choice for public hospital economic organizations.This paper,combined with theories in economics,management,accounting,and other related knowledge,adopting the method of literature review,systematic analysis,the method of combining theory and practice,attempts to get insight into financial management of the People's Hospital of Jiujiang City.In this paper,in line with with the current economic situation,the author tries to expound the research background of public hospital financial management.By researching into the financial management situation of the hospital,the author has found that the existing problems,and analyzed the causes,and proposed the corresponding management optimization strategy,hoping to provide decision-making reference for the management.The thesis is composed of six parts.The first part is an introduction,mainly introduces the research background of the topic and the significance of this study.This part also summaries related research achievements at home and abroad,lists the research methods,expounds the research idea and main content of this thesis.The second part is the theoretical basis for this study,mainly introduces the concept and main issues of financial management.In this part,the author tries to expound the end of this study,combine closely the basic theory of financial management,including the public finance theory,new public management theory,and cost management theory.The third part is the status quo analysis of the financial management of the hospital.First it describes the present situation of the hospital,and then analyzes the financial management organizational structure,asset management,cost management,liability management,revenue management conditions etc.The fourth part analyzes the existing problem and their possible cause in the hospital's financial management,summaries the major problems existing in the hospital financial management.Moreover,the author tries to research into the internal and external causes of existing problems.The fifth part proposes some countermeasures and recommendations to improve the hospital financial management level,aiming at the problems found.The sixth part is the conclusion of the whole thesis and the prospect for the future of the hospital management.The research shows that the problems existing in the financial management of hospital including :(1)the selection of investment projects is not scientificly appropriate;(2)insufficient liquidity;(3)high level of accounts receivable;(4)imperfect financial management system;(5)inadequate professional quality of the financial personnel.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the following aspects: first,scientific selection of investment projects,and strengthening risk management;Second,expanding the channel of financing,increasing financial supervision;Third,further improving the cost accounting system;Fourth,enhancing the management of accounts receivable;Fifth,improving the financial management system;Sixth,training professional skills and improving the quality of financial personnel.By taking appropriate improvement measures,being adapted to the current development environment in the medical field,the hospital will hopefully realize its development strategy and business objectives,and achieve sustainable development.
