| PurposeWe retrospectively analyzed the differences in the average DFS,median DFS and 2-year recurrence rate of TNBC patients using different treatments including radical mastectomy and breast-conserving surgery, chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy,radiotherapy and non-radiotherapy,oral traditional Chinese medicine through syndrome differentiation, and non-oral traditional Chinese medicine.MethodTo collect patients who had a definite histological type and clinical stage From September 2015 to March 2018 in the outpatient department and ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Follow-up records of DFS and treatment methods including surgical methods, whether to complete standard chemotherapy, whether to perform radiotherapy, whether to take Chinese medicine decoction through syndrome differentiation treatment, and fill out the designed information questionnaire.Result269 patients were followed up,and the average disease-free survival time of 269 patients was 16.88 months. The mean DFS of radical mastectomy was 16 months, and the average DFS of breast-conserving surgery was 19 months. There was a significant difference between the two(p=0.033<0.05);the average DFS for chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy was 18 months and 14 months respectively, the mean DFS difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p=0.003<0.01);the average DFS for radiotherapy and non-radiotherapy was 18 months and 14 months, respectively, and there was a significant difference in the mean DFS between the two groups(p=0.003<0.01);the average DFS for oral traditional Chinese medicine through syndrome differentiation, and non-oral traditional Chinese medicine was 20 months and 14 months respectively, and there was a significant difference between the two groups(p=0.000<0.01).The results of survival analysis are:the median DFS and 2-year recurrence rate at radical resection was 17 months and 75.0%,and that at breast conserving surgery was 21 months and 80.6%.There was statistical difference between the two groups(P=0.045<0.05);the median DFS and 2-year recurrence rates of chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy were 20 and 12 months,68.3%,and 81.3%,respectively.There was a significant difference between the two groups(p=0.000<0.01);there was a statistically significant difference in median DFS and 2-year recurrence rates(19 months and 11 months;70.8%and 76.3%)between radiotherapy and non-radiotherapy(p=0.09<0.01);the average DFS and the 2-year recurrence rates(20 months and 10 months;64.1%and 78.0%)of oral traditional Chinese medicine through syndrome differentiation, and non-oral traditional Chinese medicine were significantly different(p=0.000<0.01).Conclusion1.The average DFS and median DFS of breast-conserving surgery were higher than the average DFS and median DFS of radical mastectomy. The 2-year recurrence rates of breast-conserving surgery was lower than that of radical resection for 2 years. The prognosis of patients with breast-conserving surgery was better.2.Chemotherapy had a longer mean DFS and median DFS than non-chemotherapy,and chemotherapy had a lower 2-year recurrence rates compared with non-chemotherapy.The prognosis of patients with chemotherapy was better than that without chemotherapy.3.Radiotherapy had higher average DFS and median DFS than non-radiotherapy.At the same time, radiotherapy had lower 2-year recurrence rates than non-radiotherapy.Patients with radiotherapy had better prognosis than patients without radiotherapy.4.The average DFS and median DFS of oral traditional Chinese medicine through syndrome differentiation were higher than those of non-oral traditional Chinese medicine. The 2-year recurrence rates of oral traditional Chinese medicine through syndrome differentiation was lower than that of non-oral traditional Chinese medicine, and those who were treated by oral traditional Chinese medicine through syndrome differentiation had a better prognosis. |
