| Objective: Clinical observation of tibia transverse transport for the treatment of foot osteomyelitis. Methods: Select 100 cases of foot osteomyelitis treated with tibia transverse transport from August 2014 to October 2017 in our department, including 88 cases of diabetic foot and 12 cases of traumatic osteomyelitis. All patients were treated with tibia transverse transport and debridement. After the operation,we took standardized wound dressing and antibiotic therapy is based on specific conditions of the patients. The curative effect was evaluated by postoperative wound healing,X-ray sclerotin changes and infection index, limb salvage rate and recurrence rate. Results: all 100 patients were followed up for a long time. The wounds of 91 patients healed within 1~12 months. The X-ray examination showed that the sclerotin destruction was stopped or improved postoperative operation, the percentage of limb salvage rate is 96%,and the recurrence rate during 3 years is 10%.Conclusion: the method of tibia transverse transport for the treatment of osteomyelitis of foot has the advantages of small surgical trauma, low postoperative recurrence rate, low amputation rate, good clinical effect and operation safety. |
