Objective:To analyze the relationship between postoperative delirium and hidden blood loss after intertrochanteric fracture of PFN-A in elderly patients after intertrochanteric fracture of PFN-A.Method:The retrospective analysis was collected from 60 cases of elderly intertrochanteric fracture PFN-A in the Department of orthopedics,Hebei People’s Hospital, from October 2015 to October 2016.All patients were diagnosed and met the corresponding criteria.60 patients were randomly divided into two groups, namely, the delirium group and the non delirium group,30 cases in each group.Of the 60 patients enrolled in this study,25 were males and 35 females, aged 60-79 years, with an average age of 69.5 years. All the patients had a course of 4d-14 d,with an average of8.2d.Subsequently,30 patients in the delirium group were divided into mild delirium group and severe delirium group with 15 cases in each group. The injury mechanism, hidden blood loss and merger status of each case were recorded, and all data were collected.By comparing the recessive blood loss at 1 days after operation,3 days after operation and 5 days after operation, the relationship between delirium and recessive blood loss after PFN-A in the aged intertrochanteric fracture of the two groups was analyzed.Result:Delirium group and non delirium group, two comparison, two groups of patients at 1 days after the operation,3 days after the operation and5 days after the 5 days after the recessive loss of blood loss has statistical significance(P<0.05),that is,time effect. There was a significant difference inthe hidden blood loss between the two groups(P<0.05),that is,group effect. The recessive blood loss in delirium group was higher than that of non delirium group after the recessive blood loss, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the recessive loss of blood loss in the delirium group was higher than that of the non delirium group. In the mild delirium group,1 days after the operation and the severe delirium group, the difference between the two groups at 1 days after operation,3 days after the operation and 5 days after the operation was statistically significant(P<0.05),that is,time effect; There was a significant difference in the hidden blood loss between the two groups(P<0.05),that is,group effect.According to the result of recessive blood loss, the recessive blood loss in the severe delirium group was higher than that of the mild delirium group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the recessive loss of blood loss in the severe delirium group was higher than that in the mild delirium group. Conclusion:Delirium after PFN-A in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture is closely related to hidden blood loss:(1)There is a correlation between the recessive blood loss and delirium in the elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of the femur, and the increase of the recessive blood loss can lead to the increase of the incidence of postoperative delirium in the elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of the femur with PFN-A in PFN-A;(2)With the increase of hidden blood loss, the severity of delirium increased.
