Objective:To find common predicators and comsistency of IR in youth type 2diabetes mellitus by the lipid metabolism and body measurements.Method:From January2010 to July 2017,the aged 14-45 years old patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were collected with lipid metabolism and body measurements.Analyze the correlation between each index and IR.Result:In youth type 2 diabetes mellitus,WtHR,BMI,TC/ HDL-c and TG/ HDL-c were higher,the HOMA-IR was higher.The areas under receiver operating characteristic curves(ROAUCs)of BMI,Wt HR,TC/HDL-cand TG/HDL-c ratio were0.768(95%CI0.699~0.838,P<0.001),0.720(95%CI0.646~0.794,P<0.001),0.624(95%CI0.543~0.705,P=0.004)and 0.671(95%CI 0.592~0.750,P<0.001).The cut off values of WtHR was 0.525,and the specificity and sensitivity of which were 54.88% and 80.00%respectively.The cut off values of BMI were 24.46,and the specificity and sensitivity of which were 60.98% and 86.00% respectively.The cut off values of TC/HDL-c was 1.584,and the specificity and sensitivity of which were 51.22% and 70.00% respectively.The cut off values of TG/HDL-c was 0.814,and the specificity and sensitivity of which were57.32% and 73.00% respectively.By contrast,BMI and HOMA-IR were consistent with the diagnosis of insulin resistance and Kappa value was 0.479.Discussion:In youth type 2diabetes mellitus,the sensitivity and specificity of BMI were the highest in the evaluation of insulin resistance.
