Objective:To study the predictive value of serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and albumin(ALB)ratio on the prognosis of the patients with acute ST elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).Methods : A retrospective analysis of first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from September 2012 to September2013 treated 225 consecutive patients with acute STEMI in patients with clinical data, collected first tube venous blood after emergency hospital admission in patients and tested serum hs-CRP and ALB,and calculate the ratio of hs-CRP/ALB.All patients were followed up,observed and recorded with major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE).Cox Univariate and Multivariate regression analysis, including age, sex, smoking history, family history of coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, body mass index(BMI),heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, white blood cells(WBC),B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),hs-CRP/ALB,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and many other factors and the occurrence of acute STEMI patients with MACE.Results : Hs-CRP/ALB predicts MACE during follow-up period in patients with acute STEMI subject area under the curve(AUC)is 0.70(95% confidence interval(CI)0.598~0.90,P<0.001),the cut-off is 0.38,sensitivity,specificity for 68.1% and 84.7%,Hs-CRP/ALB?0.38 groups of MACE andinstitutions inside and outside the proportion of cardiac death was significantly higher than hs-CRP/ALB<0.38 groups(P<0.05),multivariate Cox regression analysis shows: hs-CRP/ALB?0.38 is the independent risk factors of patients with acute STEMI occurring adverse prognosis during follow-up period.Kaplan-Meier Survival Analysis shows that hs-CRP/ALB?0.38 group has a significantly higher incidence of MACE than hs-CRP/ALB<0.38 groups(Log-rank=5.68,P =0.017).Conclusions : Hs-CRP/ALB on prognosis of patients with acute STEMI has a high predictive value can be used as predictors of adverse clinical outcomes in the patients.
