ObjectiveTo study the application of magnetic resonance angiography(MRA)in the follow-up of stent assisted intracranial aneurysm embolization.Data and Methods33 patients were followed up after intracranial aneurysm embolization from October 2015 to October 2017,contains a total of 40 aneurysms.3.0T 3D-TOF-MRA and DSA(the time interval is 1-3 days)were both performed.The results were judged by 2 neurosurgeons and 1 radiologist independently.We use DSA as the gold standard to evaluate MRA.And then the SPSS software to analyze the data.ResultsAll patients completed the MRA and DSA examinations on time.The results were as follows: DSA examination revealed 6 cases of residual neck,7 cases of residual aneurysm,27 cases of complete embolization and no parent artery stenosis.MRA reconstruction images showed that 6 cases had residual neck,5 cases had residual aneurysm,10 cases were completely embolized and 19 cases were not clear.MRA original images showed that 8 cases had residual neck,7 cases had residual aneurysm,23 cases were completely embolized and 2 cases were not clear.We analyzed the data with crosstabs and found that there was correlation between DSA and MRA reconstruction image,DSA and MRA original image(P < 0.05);MRA images in the cases of complete embolization were both lost,especially MRA reconstruction images,there are many unclear images.But for the cases of residual aneurysm and the residual neck,diagnosis of DSA and MRA is consistent;comparing images of using SAB(20 cases)and LVIS(20 cases),we found no significant difference;comparing the images of aneurysms with different sizes,we found no significant difference.The diagnosis of aneurysm of arbitrary size can be displayed unclearly.Conclusion1.3.0T-TOF-MRA original image is sensitive to the recurrence cases after stent assisted intracranial aneurysm embolization,which can be used as an important means of follow-up.2.The signal of MRA reconstruction image is easy to lose,because of the use of stent.It is not easy to judge the parent artery stenosis,DSA is necessary.3.Different types of stent have little effect on the quality of MRA images.4.The long diameter of aneurysm has little effect on the quality of MRA image.
