Objective:The correlation factors of hepatic fibrosis in patients with both chronic hepatitis B infection and NAFLD were observed through the Fibrotouch liver hardness and the measured values of fat parameters, combined with laboratory indicators such as ALT,AST and HBV-DNA.Method:Patients were selected from the First People's Hospital of Taicang City during June2015-December 2017 in the Department of Infectious Diseases with HBV infection.According to the results of Fibrotouch fat parameters, the CAP value of 240(units)was used as the standard [1][2],which was divided into simple HBV infection group and HBV infection with NAFLD.At the same time, the height and weight of the patient were measured and body mass index(BMI)was calculated. The biochemical tests such as liver function, blood lipids, and blood glucose were recorded. The differences of liver hardness between the two groups were analyzed.Meanwhilethe LSM values such as age, gender,ALT,AST,and PLT were analyzed too.The correlation factors(e.g.LSM,ALT,AST,PLT,HBV-DNA,etc.)of the degree of hepatic fibrosis in patients with HBV infection co-existing NAFLD was analyzed and stratification was applied due to CAP level.Results:1.The LSM measurement in HBV-NAFLD group was significantly higher than that in HBV group(P<0.01).2.The difference in hardness between the two groups was not statistically correlated to HBV-DNA level and patient's age(P>0.05).3.The ALT,AST,PLT,cholesterol, blood glucose and other serological parametersin HBV-NAFLDgroup were higher than those in HBVgroup, and there were statistically significant differences(P<0.01).4.There was no clear positive linear correlation between the degree of hepatic steatosis and liver hardness in HBV-NAFLD group. However, the correlation was significant when hepatic steatosis triggered hepatocyte inflammation.5.There was no statistically significant correlation between HBV DNA copies and the degree of hepatic steatosis. Conclusion:When HBV-DNA copies and age are similar, the liver's hardness gradually increases as the liver's fat content increases. When hepatic fat accumulates in a large amount and causes significant hepatocyte inflammatory reactions,it will accelerate hepatic fibrosis.Reducing the degree of hepatic fat infiltration is an important method for slowing and improving liver fibrosis.
