BackgroundCervical spondylosis is the syndrome type of cervical intervertebral disc and vertebral body,substructure degenerative compression,stimulation of spinal cord,blood vessel,cervical nerve and so on.Cervical spondylosis is an effective method for traction of cervical spondylosis,and the morphological status of the intervertebral pore can have a important effect on the therapeutic effect.In the early stage of the project,we have established the measurement method of cervical intervertebral pore morphology based on 2D/3D image registration technology,and the accuracy of the intervertebral pore area is also detected.This article will also based on 2 d/3 d registration technology assessment between the first generation adjustable neck collar and the second generation(both are made from Foshan Ethernet medical supplies co.,LTD.)the impact on the intervertebral foramen form and comparison,discusses the effect of two kinds of neck collar in expanding intervertebral foramen,thus provide better traction therapy for patients with cervical spondylopathy.ObjectiveThis research will be based on 2D/3D registration technology to evaluate of intervertebral foramen and comparison between the first generation adjustable neck collar and the second generation,to discuss which kind of neck collar can better provide traction therapy for patients with cervical spondylosis.Methods1.Acquisition of imaging data.The research involved two experiments:there are seven healthy volunteers in each experiment group.Obtain 14 cases of cervical vertebral body tomography data and exclude cervical spondylosis.Guide a group of the tested respectively wearing adjustable cervical fixation tractor,group 2 subjects wearing YT traction function exercise neck collar,the above two kinds of neck collar are produced in Foshan Ethernet medical supplies co.,LTD.Adjust cervical traction Angle to 0。,stretched out after 10°,the former 20°and 10° of flexion and proneness.Take X-ray film of positive lateral position of cervical vertebra under different traction Angle.2.We use medical image processing software Mimics for 3D reconstruction and registration of image data.3.Use the reverse engineering software Rapidform XOR3 of INUS company in Korea to determine the intervertebral pore parameters.The area difference and area growth rate of intervertebral pore,the difference of upper and lower diameters and the upper and lower diameter growth rate of intervertebral pore,difference of front and back diameter and growth rate of front and back diameter of intervertebral pore were calculated,and the correlation statistical analysis was performed.Results1.Comparison of the difference between the intervertebral foramen in different flexion angles.The intervertebral foramen area difference of neck collar ii at cervical C2/3 segments anteflexion 20°,C3/4 segment 0°,extension 10° and anteflexion 20°,C4/5 segments extension 10° and anteflexion 20°,C5/6 segment 0°,extension 10°,anteflexion 10°and anteflexion 20 °was better than that of the first generation neck collar,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between two kind of neck collar on the intervertebral pore area(P>0.05).2.Comparison of the growth rate of intervertebral foramen in different refractive angles.The intervertebral foramen area of growth rate of neck collar ii at cervical C2/3 segments anteflexion 20°,C3/4 segment 0°,anteflexion 10°,anteflexion 20° and extension 10°,C4/5 extension 10°,anteflexion 10°,anteflexion 20°,C5/6 segment 0°,extension 10°,anteflexion10°,anteflexion 20°0 was better than that of the neck collar i generation,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the growth rate of intervertebral pore area in the remaining segments(P>0.05).3.Comparison of the difference and the growth rate between the upper and lower diameters of intervertebral foramen under different flexion and extension angles.The difference and the growth rate of the upper and lower diameters of intervertebral foramen of neck collar ii at cervical C3/4 segments anteflexion 10°,C5/6 segment anteflexion 10° was better than that of the neck collar i generation,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the difference between the upper and lower diameters of the intervertebral foramen and the growth rate of the other cervical segments(P>0.05).4.Comparison of diameter between foramen and foramen under different flexion and extension angles.The difference and the growth rate of anteroposterior diameters of intervertebral foramen of neck collar ii at cervical C2/3 segment 0°,10° after the former 20° and 10° of flexion and proneness,,C3/4 anteflexion 10 °、anteflexion 20°,C4/5 segment 0°,anteflexion 20°,C5/6 anteflexion 20° was better than that of the neck collar i generation,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference of the anteroposterior diameter and the growth rate of other foramen foramen had no significant difference from that of the cervical spine(P>0.05).Conclusion1.By comparison,the second generation neck collar on most part of cervical vertebra was superior to the first generation,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.In C5/6 section four traction angle and when C2/3、C3/4 and C4/5 cervical anteflexion 20°,the second generation of neck collar can enlarge intervertebral foramen area more effectively.3.The structure of the two neck collars is different.The second generation neck collar is better than the first generation and can be used for traction treatment of patients with cervical spondylosis more effectively.
