ThereforeWith the introduction of the concept of "Precision Medicine",the demand for the accuracy of medical imaging technology and computer-aided diagnosis technology is getting higher and higher.Research shows that cardiovascular disease is the non-communicable disease with the highest human mortality rate.Coronary artery stenosis caused by atherosclerosis is its early manifestations.,the analysis of the degree of coronary artery stenosis is of great significance for the prevention and diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases.CT angiography(CTA)image is an important imaging technique for the diagnosis of vascular diseases.However,due to the limitation of medical imaging equipment and the complicated structure of coronary artery,CTA image of coronary artery has problems such as low contrast,intensity inhomogeneity and blurred edges.It cannot obtain the clear and complete morphology of coronary artery directly.The effects of traditional enhancement and segmentation methods are also unsatisfactory.Therefore,improving the performance of the enhancement and segmentation algorithm of the coronary artery image is the key to solve the problem.At the same time,it can provide strong support for the follow-up analysis of 3D visualization and quantitative measurements of coronary artery.This paper provides a semi-automatic processing framework for coronary artery morphology analysis using mathematical method and computer-aided diagnostic techniques.It gives in-depth study and analysis of existing methods of vessel enhancement,segmentation and 3D reconstruction,and makes some improvements based on the problem.The main research work includes:1.Due to the complexity of the background of the chest CTA images,there are some other tissues and organs with lower contrast causing interference around the coronary artery.Aiming at this problem,this paper proposed an improved multi-scale vessel enhancement method based on Hessian matrix.By constructing a vascular metric function and combining with thresholding method and multi-scale integration to highlight targets,it effectively enhances vessel information and removes the interference caused by other surrounding similar structures and background noise,which lays a good foundation for the follow-up vessel segmentation.2.In order to solve the problem of intensity inhomogeneity and blurred edges of coronary artery CTA images,this paper proposed a variational level set method based on the priori vascular shape and active narrow band.It drives the evolution of the parameter curve using local area items constructed by active narrow band and priori shape items constructed by vessel enhancement results.As a result,it effectively restrains the shape and area of the curve evolution,controls the smoothness of the curve,deals with the problem of edges leakage,and improves the convergence speed and accuracy of the algorithm.3.Through research and analysis of 3D reconstruction methods and implementation platform,achieve the drawing of 3D coronary artery shape with medical image visualization software.The effectiveness and superiority of the method provided in this paper are verified through the comparison experiments on synthetic images and clinical images.The research of coronary artery enhancement,segmentation and 3D reconstruction provides the necessary conditions for vessel stenosis detection and plaque recognition,which is of great significance for the early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases.
