Objective:To anal yze the cause of wheezing in infants and children.Methods:Cases of wheezing in child ren aged less than 3 years from January 1,2016 to December 31,2016 in Xi'an children's hospital were collected,a total of 1140 cases collected were divided into five groups according to age,0~<3 months,3~<6 months,6 months~<1 years old,1~<2 years old,2~ 3 years old,were retrospectivel y anal yzed According to the diagnoses.Results:(1)Within 3 years the cause of wheezing in infants with wheezing related infection is most common,accounting for the total number of cases of 84.8%.Bronchial asthma accounted fo r 9.4%.Bronchial foreign body accounted for 3.9%,more common in 1 year old~3 years old children,Congenital laryngeal cartilage dysplasia accounted for 0.9%,more common in children with 0~3 months.others such as diaphragmatic eventration,The esophageal fissure hernia,bronchopulmonary dysplasia,bronchiolitis obliterans,malformation of lung development,tracheal bronchus is very rare.(2)Respiratory syncyt ial virus(RSV)accounted for 85.3%,influenza 33%,adenovirus 20% and parainfluenza virus 15.5%,a mong which there were 98 cases of mixed virus infection.suggesting RSV is the major pathogen associated with viral infection.Among the children with wheezing,Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection accounted for 10.4%,and the infection rate was relativel y high,a mong which the children aged from 6 months to 3 years were more common.(3)Respiratory syncytial virus,parainfluenza virus,influenza virus,adenovirus and Mycoplasma pneumoniae all have the highest infection rate in autumn and winter,and have a seasonal trend.Conclusions: the infant wheezing is a set of cause of disease,more attention should be paid to clinical differential diagnosis,earl y correct diagnosis and treatment can effectivel y reduce the social burden of disease.
