Clinical Analysis Of Different Doses Of Polyethylene Glycol Electrolyte Powder Used In Bowel Preparation For Total Colonoscopy

Objectives To compare the clinical effects of 2L,(1+2)L,(2+2)L polyethylene glycol electrolyte(PEG)isotonic solution for bowel preparation before colonoscopy and to explore a reasonable and effective bowel preparation The plan provides the basis for a colonoscopy pre-intestinal preparation program.Methods 1 225 patients who underwent colonoscopy in the Department of Gastroenterology,the Affiliated of Hospital North China University of Science and Technology were chosen,from November 2016 to October 2017.They were randomly divided into three groups—group 2L,group(1+2)L and group(2+2)L.Finally,75 cases were included in the group 2L,71 cases in the group(1+2)L,and 71 cases in the group(2+2)L.Group 2L: 2 L PEG solution was taken on the day of the examination.Group(1+2)L: 1 L PEG solution was taken on the night before the examination and 2 L PEG solution was orally taken on the day of the inspection.Group(2+2)L: 2 L PEG solution was taken on before the examination and another 2 L PEG solution was taken on the day of the examination.2 The basic data of the patients was collected,which included gender,age,BMI,normal bowel movement,history of abdominal surgery,drinking history,etc.During colonoscopy,the duration of the total colonoscopy,the time from the colonoscopy to ileocecal part,withdrawal time,the discovery of colorectal polyps were recorded.The Boston bowel preparation scale(BBPS)was used by endoscopes to score and record the intestinal cleanliness.3 Before colonoscopy,all the subjects had to sign the “informed consent of the digestive endoscopy ” and application.4 Finally,we used SPSS 17.0 software to analyze all the data statistically.Before the data is carried out,all the data were tested for normal distribution and homogeneity test of variance.Measurement data was expressed by mean standard ±deviation.Count data was expressed by the number of examples and percentages.Using single factor analysis of variance or a nonparametric test among three sample means.Using chisquare test for count data.We considered P<0.05 statistically significant.Results 1 Comparison of three groups of intestinal cleaning effect,the difference between the composite score and the right colon score were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three groups were compared pairwise in the BBPS total score and the right colon score.Group(2+2)L compared with group 2 L and group(1+2)L,the intestinal cleaning effect of group(2+2)L was better than that of group 2 L and group(1+2)L,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2 BBPS scores of intestinal cleanliness in constipation were compared.Comparison of the BBPS total score,the left colon,transverse colon and right colon score among the three groups,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three groups were compared pairwise in the BBPS total score and the right colon score,the left colon,transverse colon and right colon score.Compared with the total score of the left colon,transverse colon,right colon BBPS score,between group 2 L and group(2+2)L,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).The effect of intestinal cleaning,group(2+2)L was better than group 2 L.Compared with the right colon BBPS score between,the difference group(1+2)L and group(2+2)L,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).The effect of intestinal cleaning,group(1+2)L was better than group(2+2)L.BBPS scores of intestinal cleanliness in patients with diarrhea and regular oral defecation were compared among the three groups.The total score and the colon scores of each group were not statistically significant(P>0.05).3 BBPS scores of intestinal cleanliness in the patients who had a history of abdominal surgery were compared.Comparison of the BBPS total score,the left colon,transverse colon and right colon score among the three groups,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three groups were compared pairwise in the BBPS total score and the right colon score,the left colon,transverse colon and right colon score.Compared with the total score of the left colon and transverse colon BBPS score,between group 2 L and group(1+2)L,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).The effect of intestinal cleaning,group(1+2)L was better than group 2 L.Compared with the right colon BBPS score,between group(2+2)L and group(1+2)L,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the transverse colon BBPS score,between group(2+2)L and group(1+2)L,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).4 Three groups of patients of the adverse reaction of nausea,vomit,abdominal pain,thirsty,palpitation and fatigue by comparison,P value is greater than 0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.The incidence of abdominal distention in the three groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Through two two comparsion of incidence of abdominal distention in the three groups,results show: the incidence of abdominal distention,group 2L < group(1+2)L < group(2+2)L.7 Three groups of patients of the time from the colonoscopy to ileocecal part,withdrawal time and the detection rate of colorectal polyps,by comparison,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions 1 Different groups of individuals need to take different doses of polyethylene glycol electrolyte isotonic solution during bowel preparation.2 The patients with diarrhea and regular oral defecation who take 2-L whole-dose polyethylene glycol electrolyte isotonic solution can achieve better bowel preparation.The history of abdominal surgery is suitable for intestinal preparation by 3-L spilt-dose polyethylene glycol electrolyte isosotic solution.The 4-L spilt-dose polyethylene glycol electrolyte isotonic solution of bowel preparationpatients is suitable for the patients with constipation and suspected lesions in the right hemi colon.
