| Objective: To discuss on auditory characteristics and causes of hearing loss of children with cerebral palsy,and to raise awareness of it.Methods: To collect 79 cases of cerebral palsy children with definite diagnosis and rehabilitation treatment in outpatient department of our hospital,and to line inspection with auditory brainstem response,ABR and distortion product & emission,DPOAE of all children,and by analysis of test results of ABR and DPOAE.Combining with clinical data,to find the causes of hearing loss and its high risk factors in children with cerebral palsy.Results: 28 cases(35.44%)shows abnormal with ABR in 79 cases of cerebral palsy children,23 cases shows abnormal with two ears ABR,and single ear ABR is abnormal in 5 cases.In 28 cases in children with abnormal ABR,did not lead to waveform in 11 cases,and they are severe cerebral palsy.There are 5 cases missing ears DPOAE reaction,and 18 cases ears DPOAE is normal,and 5 cases of DPOAE value with high frequency area in this 28 cases.There are 10 cases of cochlear deafness in this group of cases,and 18 cases of cochlear deafness.High risk factors of 28 cases of children with hearing injury cerebral palsy mainly include suffocation 7 cases,6 cases of high blood bilirubin,preterm delivery in 3 cases and 1 case with the mother during pregnancy disease.There are two or more than two kinds of risk factors in 5 cases.Conclusion:There are 1 / 3 of children with cerebral palsy associated with hearing loss.The changes of auditory function of children with cerebral palsy are characterized by bilateral,severe and neurotic auditory impairment,mainly in retrocochlear deafness.ABR DPOAE provides objective location and frequency characteristics for hearing impairment in children with cerebral palsy.Severe asphyxia,premature birth and jaundice are the main causes of cerebral palsy and the main cause of hearing loss. |
