Thyroid nodules are common thyroid diseases, and as the incidence of thyroid nodules is increasing, more and more patients have undergone thyroidectomy. The treatment of benign and malignant thyroid nodules is very different, and there are significant differences in The quality of the patient's survival and the medicai costs involved, therefore the preoperative qualitative diagnosis is of great significiance.Although the related guidelines for thyroid treatment are used as guidelines and standards at home and abroad, there is still a inadequate or over treatment in thyroid lesions. Therefore, the identification of benign and malignant thyroid nodules is an important point and difficulty in evaluating thyroid nodules.Ultrasonography is low cost, convenient and non-invasive,high resolution of soft tissue, and is the most widely used imaging examination of thyroid lesions. However,in addition to the high accuracy of spongiform structures and cystic nodules in the diagnosis of benign thyroid nodules, and the basic exclusion of malignancy, other ultrasound features alone cannot diagnose and rule out malignancy; The total accuracy of puncture pathology is high, but there are false negative rate and false positive rate;CT examination is limited by the use of radioactive and iodinated contrast agents;radionuclide imaging is of limited value for differential diagnosis of benign and malignant nodules.Explore new inspection techniques are expected to make up for the limitations of other tests and provide more valuable diagnostic information for the clinic.MRI examinations has the advantages of non-radiation,wide field of vision,multi-parameter imaging, good soft tissue contrast and spatial resolution, and there are broad prospects for functional imaging.DWI is anMRI functional imaging technology that studies the pathophysiological state of the disease from the cell and molecular level by reflecting the microscopic diffusion of water molecules. In this study,By summarizing the imaging features,we analyzed the diagnostic efficacy of the diffusion function imaging and MRI plain scan in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules.
