Objective:To explore the clinical application value of acoustic radiation force impulse imaging(ARFI)in diagnosis and staging of cervical cancer.Methods:A total of 150 patients with cervical diseases and treated from Sep.2016 to Oct.2017 were selected as subjects and divided into 3 groups:50 patients with normal cervix(normal cervix group),55 patients with cervical intraepithelial nepolasia(CIN group)and 45 patients with cervical cancer(cervical cancer group).The resistance index(RI)and virtual touch tissue quantification(VTQ)Patients were obtained by using transvaginal color Doppler flow imaging(TV-CDFI)in conjunction with ARFI before operation.Serum 1evels of the HMGB1 protein were examined using commercially available ELISA kits.The differences of VTQ values and serum HMGB1 levels were analyzed among the three groups and the stages of cervical cancer.The relationship between VTQ values and lymph node metastasis of cervical cancer were analyzed.To assess the correlations between VTQ value and RI,VTQ value and HMGB1 level.Results:(1)The VTQ value of the cervical cancer group(2.54±0.68)m/s was significantly higher than the normal cervix group(1.54±0.46)m/s and the CIN group(1.62±0.72)m/s(P<0.01).Serum HMGB1 levels were significantly elevated in the cervical cancer group compared with normal cervix group and CIN group(P<0.01).(2)The VTQ value and serum HMGB1 levels increased with the stage of cervical cancer(P<0.05),while there was no significantly difference between the CIN group and normal cervix group(P>0.05).(3)The VTQ value of patients with lymph nodes metastasis(2.59±0.97)m/s was significantly higher than that of patients with no lymph node spread(1.86±0.75)m/s(P<0.05).(4)The VTQ value and RI had negative correlation.The VTQ value was positively correlated with HMGB1 level(P<0.01).Conclusion:ARFI could provide the information of hardness of malignant cervical lesions,and be helpful in Staging of Cervical Cancer.On the basis of routine ultrasonography,ARFI combined with HMGB1 may be useful in noninvasive prediction of the patients with cervical cancers.
