Background:Ovarian cancer is the most lethal malignant tumor of the female reproductive system, due to the asymptom of early lesions, most people are diagnosed with advanced stage.Metastasis is one of the major factors that contribute to the poor outcome of patients with OC.There are no effective methods for early screening and diagnosis.High grade serous ovarian cancer(HGSOC)is the most common histotype of ovarian cancer.Accumulating evidence indicates that IncRNAs are expressed and play important regulatory roles in ovarian cancer. Therefore,it is crucial to explore the mechanism of HGSOC metastasis and find new molecular markers and therapeutic targets for blocking the pelvic metastasis of cancer cells and increasing the five-year survival rate in this specific population.Material and Methods:Aberrant IncRNAs in primary ovarian cancer tissues(POCTs)and paired omental metastasis tissues(OMTs)of patients with HGSOC were studied via IncRNA microarray and using the co-expression network based on the chip report to analyze the genes in HGSOC that are related to CTD-2020K17.1 expression.Real-time PCR was performed to examine CTD-2020K17.1 expression in HGSOC tissues from 38 paired POCTs and OMTs and Correlation between relative CTD-2020K17.1 expression and clinicopathological characteristics of HGSOC patients was analysed through theses datas. Results:A novel IncRNA named CTD-2020K17.1 was identified via microarray analysis.Expression of CTD-2020K17.1 was significantly increased in OMTs compared with POCTs(P<0.05).By co-expression network analysis,we found that CTD-2020K17.1 and CARD11 expression in HGSOC have a correlation. Moreover, the relative expression of CTD-2020K17.1(OMTs/POCTs)was correlated with the CA125 level of patients(P<0.05).Conclusion:CTD-2020K17.1 is significantly upregulated in OMTs and related to the expression level of CARD11,it may participated in the reglation of CARD11.In addition,CTD-2020K17.1 was significantly associated with the expression level of CA-125 in HGSOC.It may promote the migration and invasion in HGSOC.
