Chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection plays an important role in the occurrence, development and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).The main purpose of anti-HBV therapy in comprehensive HCC treatment is suppression or eliminating HBV replication in vivo, reducing HBV load, and reducing activity in hepatitis outcomes, thereby reducing the incidence of liver failure and mortality, reducing the rate of recurrence after radical surgery or slowing the progression of liver disease, and extending the survival period of liver cancer patients.Improving quality of Life. However, the clinical efficacies and benefits of anti-HBV therapy in comprehensive HCC treatment are still far from satisfactory. It is still a topic worthy of attention and discussion in improving clinical efficacy for example understanding the role of anti-HBV therapy in comprehensive treatment of HCC,rational selection of antiviral drugs, either alone or in combination or sequential treatment.
