| Objective:Summarize the epidemiological characteristics of children fracture.Methods:The data was collected from children with fractures who were treated in Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from June 2015 to July 2016.Fracture time,cause,type,age,gender were recorded.Results:Total 717 patients were included in the study,with 495 male and 222 female.Most fractures were occurred during 1-7 year-old(494 cases,accounting for 68.9%).The high incidence of fractures was in July and August(141 cases,20%).The time point of the fracture mainly concentrated in 10:00 to 21:00(383 cases,accounting for 81%).16:00 to 17:00(47,9.9%)and 18:00 to 19:00(47,9.9%)were at the highest incidence.Upper extremity fracture(499 cases,69.5%)was more than lower extremity fracture(210 cases,29.2%).Supracondylar humerus fracture(202.29.2%)was the most common fracture type.Play accounted for 77.5% of fracture Reasons,car accident was 16%,sports was 6.1%.Conclusion:Children fracture in July and August was at high incidence,16:00 to 17:00and18:00 to 19:00 were most likely to occur.there were more fracture happened at men than women.Upper extremity fracture was more than extremity fractures,.Supracondylar humerus fractures was the most common type.Play was the main reason for the child fracture. |
