Objective:To systematically evaluate the efficacy and security of sequential therapy with itraconazole and terbinafine pulse in the treatment of onychomycosis. Methods:We made a retrival in PubMed,Cochrane Library,EMBase,CNKI,Wanfang,VIP for literatures about the efficacy and security of sequential therapy with itraconazole and terbinafine pulse in the treatment of onychomycosis. Two reviewers independently extracted the data and evaluated the quality of the included literatures. The Review Manager 5.3 software was used for meta-analysis.Results:A total 10 studies and 872 patients were included. The meta-analysis showed the following results:the experiment group had higher recent total effective rate(OR=3.24,95%CI 2.17?4.83,P<0.01)and long-term total effective rate(OR=4.94,95%CI 2.63?9.29,P<0.01)and lower recurrence rate(OR=0.33,95%CI 0.21?0.54,P<0.01),but the two groups were not significantly different in adverse reaction rate(OR=0.74,95%CI 0.44?1.24,P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the treatment with simple itraconazole pulse, sequential therapy with itraconazole and terbinafine pulse has higher effective rate and lower recurrence rate, and causes no severe adverse reactions in the treatment of onychomycosis. |
