Objectives(1)To develop a questionnaire of health education needs of patients with gynecological malignant chemotherapy and evaluate the reliability and validity.(2)To analyze the status of health education needs of patients with gynecological malignant chemotherapy.(3)Based on the needs of health education, medical care cooperation is used to intervene and evaluate the effect of implementation.MethodsChapterl:Based on literature review, qualitative interviews and expert consultation, the pretest questionnaire was developed. In this paper,a questionnaire survey was conducted among one hundred and seventy-three patients with gynecological malignant chemotherapy to assess its reliability and validity.Chapter2:From January to March 2017,one hundred and twenty patients with gynecological malignant chemotherapy were selected by convenience sampling method. The general information questionnaire and the questionnaire of health education needs of patients with gynecological malignant chemotherapy were used to investigate the current situation.Chapter3:One hundred and ten patients with gynecological malignant chemotherapy were randomly divided into an trial group(n=51)and control group(n=53).The control group received routine health education, whereas the trial group received the routine health education plus medical and nursing cooperative intervention program.Evaluation indicators include 5 domains:?Incidence of complications;?Chemotherapy knowledge;? Patients compliance;? Hospital management index;?Health education satisfaction.ResultsChapterl:Nineteen items of the questionnaire in six domains were eventually formed, including cognitive health education needs, physical health education needs, safety health education needs, attribution health education needs,self-esteem health education needs and self-realization health education needs. The total Cronbach's a coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.817,and the Cronbach's a coefficient of each domain was between 0.649 and 0.764.Test-retest reliability was 0.829,and the content validity index was 0.85.Chapter2:(1)The top three health education needs were "adverse reactions and coping skills of chemotherapy drugs","Clinical manifestations and treatment progress ","Diet Nutrition guidance".(2)The selection of health education providers, the proportion of patients choosing health care team was the highest,56 cases were 46.7%,and the proportion of responsibility nurses was only 29 cases(24.2%).Chapter3:(1)Incidence of Complications:The incidence of complications in the trial group was 1.96%lower than that in the control group(11.32%).(2)Chemotherapy Knowledge:The scores of chemotherapy knowledge in trial group were increased from 14.96±3.35 to 22.33±5.58,and the scores of chemotherapy knowledge in control group were increased from 15.03±3.11 to 19.16±4.26(P<0.05).(3)Patients Compliance:The blood routine examination(t=6.792,P<0.05),referral follow-up(x2=4.411,P<0.05)and leukocytosis treatment(t=4.823,P<0.05)in the trial group were higher than those in the control group. But the two items of the number of chemotherapy(t=6.792,P>0.05)and the standard drug use(x2=4.411,P>0.05)were significant difference.(4)Hospital Management Index:There was no significant difference in hospitalization cost(t=1.127,P>0.05)and hospitalization days(t=1.953,P>0.05)between the two groups.(5)Health Education Satisfaction:The health education satisfaction in the trial group was significantly higher than that in the control group(t=5.179,P<0.05).Conclusion(1)The questionnaire has good reliability and validity and can be used to evaluate the health education needs of patients with gynecologic malignant chemotherapy.(2)There is a demand for health education in patients with gynecological malignant chemotherapy, and they wish to choose the health care team as health education providers.(3)Based on the requirement of health education, the medical and nursing cooperative intervention program can significantly reduce the incidence of complications, improve patient's compliance, the awareness of the disease and health education satisfaction.
