Changes In Lactate,Blood Glucose,IL-6,IL-15 And TNF-α Levels Of Female Hyperthyroid Patients With Sarcopenia In High-intensity Intermittent Exercise

Objective:The aim of this study was to examine the effect of high-intensity intermittent exercise(HIIE)on the features of immunometabolism by comparing female hyperthyroid sarcopenia and female hyperthyroid non-sarcopenia patients,female sarcopenia patients,health female.The differences in the metabolic power and inflammatory response between the hyperthyroid patients were compared.Methods:A total of 20 female hyperthyroid sarcopenia patients(mean age45.30±15.01 years)admitted to the Department of Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases,People’s Hospital of Linyi from March 2017 to October 2017 were selected as study subjects.20 women hyperthyroid non-sarcopenia patients(mean age 44.10±11.47years)served as control subjects A,a total of 12 female sarcopenia patients(mean age52.08±13.94 years)as control subjects B.20 women hyperthyroid non-sarcopenia patients(mean age 50.85±12.91 years)served as control subjects C,and no significant differences were observed in age and height between the 4 groups.Using dual energy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA)in the BMD of the Linyi People’s Hospital’s east medical area,the body fat composition of the subjects was measured,the skeletal muscle mass index(SMI)was calculated,and the patients’grip,pace,and diagnostic criteria were assessed according to the Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia standards.All the subjects underwent three high-intensity Wingate tests at 5-minute intervals,and the peak and average power during each Wingate trial were recorded.Blood samples were collected immediately after the test was completed.The levels of the inflammatory cytokine IL-6,IL-15 and TNF-α,which is related to miosis,in the peripheral blood before and after the HIIE were analysed in both groups by ELISA.Glucose measurement:Venous blood was collected from the peripheral veins of the upper arm before testing and immediately following the third high-intensity Wingate test.In addition,blood samples were taken from the auricle of each subject at 1 min after each round of Wingate test to determine the level of blood lactate.All data were analysed using the SPSS 21.0 statistical software,and P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.RESULTS:There is a difference in the blood glucose and lactate metabolic of HIIE between the four groups.The data from the study showed that women with hyperthyroid non-sarcopenia had a higher metabolic rate(values Pre-vs.Post-HIIE,for lactate 1.46±0.36mmol/L VS 10.63±1.39mmol/L,P<0.001)(values Pre-vs.Post-HIIE,for blood glucose 5.41±0.59mmol/l VS 6.61±0.75mmol/l,P<0.001)comparedto women with hyperthyroid sarcopenia.The Hoechst work power of the two groups was lower than that of the female hyperthyroid sarcopenia(P<0.05).The average power of the third Wingate was also lower than that of the female hyperthyroid non-sarcopenia(P<0.05).There was no significant change of IL-15 and TNF-αlevel in peripheral blood before and after HIIE in two groups of hyperthyroid patients(P>0.05).There was a significant change of IL-6 level in peripheral blood before and after HIIE in two groups of hyperthyroid patients(24.31±9.62 pg/ml VS27.41±11.08 pg/ml,P<0.001)(17.38±6.70 pg/ml VS 22.22±9.12 pg/ml,P<0.001).However,there was no significant change in the levels of IL-15 and TNF-αin peripheral blood(P>0.05).Sarcopenia has a significant effect on differences in IL-6inflammatory response(F1,38=4.39;P=0.043;η2=0.10).CONCLUSIONS:Sarcopenia may have an impacton the blood glucose and lactate metabolism of hyperthyroid patients with sarcopenia,resulting in a decrease in energy metabolism.There was a significantdifference in inflammatory reaction between IL-6induced by high-intensity intermittent exercise between all Patients.There was a significant difference in IL-6 inflammatory response caused by HIIE between the two hyperthyroid groups.In summary,sarcopenia will affect the immune and metabolic characteristics of women with hyperthyroidism play a certain role,it is worth further study.
