TCM Symptomatic Classification And Clinical Study Of Cognitive Impairment Of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Objective:Through the investigation by using a questionnaire,combined with clinical practice and basic knowledge of TCM theory,to explore the intrinsic relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus and cognitive dysfunction,to explore the influencing factors and characteristics of cognitive dysfunction in type 2 diabetes mellitus,and to explore the characteristics of TCM syndromes of cognitive dysfunction of type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods: Random selection of the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in accordance with the diagnostic criteria for diabetes,whose name,gender,age,duration of diabetes,education level,telephone number and other information is entered.To first test them by the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale,if the test results do not support the existence of cognitive dysfunction(scale score ≥ 26 points),the end of the test.If the test results support the existence of cognitive dysfunction in patients(score <26 points),then the patient is continue to test with dementia syndrome classification SDSD test.The corresponding syndromes are concluded according to the scores of the scale.Ending the test for the patient and finally basing on the test data,the following contents are statistically analyzed:(1)the proportion of patients with cognitive dysfunction in the total amount of diabetes.(2)the age of the patients,the proportion of gender and other basic data.(3)the proportional relation between related factors and cognitive dysfunction and other related data.(4)Diabetes cognitive dysfunction in patients with various types of TCM syndromes and data characteristics of symptoms.Results: 250 patients were included,122 male patients,128 female patients,and the age range was 68.99 ± 8.191.There were 126 patients with cognitive dysfunction,accounting for 50.4% of the total population,including 42 males and 84 females.There was 0 patients with cognitive dysfunctionin younger than 49 years old,accounting for 0% of the group;there were 3 people at the age of 50 to 59,accounting for 12.0% of the group.there were 52 people at the age of 60 to 69,accounting for 50.5% of the group;there were 15 people older than 80 years old,accounting for 71.4% of the group.The duration of diabetes of 36 patients with cognitive dysfunction was shorter than 5 years,accounting for 42.4% of the group;the duration of diabetes of 44 patients were between 5 years and 9 years,accounting for 62.0% of the group;the duration of diabetes of 28 patients were between 10 years and 14 years,accounting for 57.1% of the group;the duration of diabetes of 18 patients were more than 15 years,accounting for 40.0% of the group.There were 74 patients with cognitive dysfunction in the group that education level shorter than 6 years,accounting for 74.0% of the group.There were 31 patients in the the group that education level at 7 to 9 years,accounting for 48.4% of the group.There were 15 patients in the the group that education level at 10 to 12 years,accounting for 15 Group 28.8%;There were 6 patients in the group that education level more than 13 years,accounting for 17.6% of the group.TCM syndrome classification of cognitive dysfunction of Type 2 diabetes:There were 35 patients with the type of deficiency of the marrow sea;There were 31 patients with the type that seven orifices were obsessed with the phlegm turbidity;There were 24 patients with the type of deficiency of spleen and kidney;There were 14 patients with the type of deficiency of Qi and blood.There were 14 patients with the type that blood stagnant in cerebral venation syndrome.There are 8 patients with other syndromes.Symptoms rankings(top 15): soreness of waist,tinnitus,body fat,chills,teeth off,white and lusterless hair,loose stool or early hard then loose stool,darling and vomiting,palpitations,nocturia,excessive phlegm in moring,gurgling with sputum in snoring,hidrosis,head dizziness and heaviness in body,headache.Tongue ranking(the first five): fat tongue,pale tongue,tooth-marked tongue,white and smooth fur,thin white and greasy fur.Pulse rankings(the first five): deep pulse,thready pulse,wiry pulse,slippery pulse,chi pluse weakness.Conclusion: 1,The incidence of type 2 diabetes patients with cognitive dysfunction in this thesis more than 50.4%.2,The incidence of cognitive dysfunction in type 2 diabetes of females is higher than that of males.There was a positive correlation between the age and the incidence of cognitive dysfunction in type 2 diabetic patients.The high educational level has
