Catgut Implantation At Acupoint For AR Patients:Improve The Quality Of Life And Survey The Satisfaction

Objective:By measuring the change of VAS and RQLQ valus of AR patients receiving catgut implantation at acupoint,To understand the improvement of quality of life of the allergic rhinitis patients;Questionnaire survey the satisfaction of AR patients for the treatment of allergic rhinitis with catgut implantation at acupoint,to explore the factors that affect the patient satisfaction.Measure:Before the beginning of this study,by reading the domestic and foreign literature on " catgut implantation at acupoint","allergic rhinitis","biqiu","satisfaction",preparation of catgut implantation at acupoint treatment of allergic rhinitis satisfaction questionnaire,and to conduct a pre-survey to test the reliability and validity of the satisfaction questionnaire,and to modify the existing problems in the questionnaire.In this study,a total of 62 subjects were included,all of them who suffering from allergic rhinitis from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Otorhinolaryngology clinic in 2016.07-2016.09.The study was conducted on Mondays or Thursdays and once every 2 weeks,and then were treated with catgut implantation at acupoint for a total of 2 times.The VAS scale and RQLQ scale were used to evaluate the curative effect at week 0,week 2,week 4 and week 8,and the satisfaction questionnaire was completed at the 8th week follow-up.The data were compared before and after treatment,so as to observe the improvement of the quality of life of AR patients by catgut implantation at acupoint,and analy the satisfaction of patients with allergic rhinitis and the reasons for the satisfaction outcome.Result:VAS scale overall symptoms of the results show:Before treatment(0 weeks)-the first time after operation(2 weeks),before treatment(0 weeks)– the second times after operation(4 weeks),before treatment(0 weeks)-the end of follow-up(8 weeks),there were significantly difference(P < 0.05);the second times after operation(4 weeks)-after the end of follow-up(8 weeks),there was no significantly difference(P > 0.05).VAS form shows:At symptoms of nasal itching,sneezing,runny,stuffy nose,before treatment(0 weeks)-the first time after operation(2 weeks),before treatment(0 weeks)and second times after operation(4 weeks),before treatment(0 weeks)-the end of follow-up(8 week),there were significantly difference(P < 0.05);the second times after operation(4 weeks)-after the end of follow-up(8 weeks),there was no significantly difference(P > 0.05).RQLQ scale results show: RQLQ score,daily life dimension,sleep dimension,non-nostril dimension,actual problem dimension,nasal symptom dimension,eye symptom dimension,affective dimension were compared before and after treatment,before treatment(0 weeks)-the first time after operation(2 weeks),before treatment(0 weeks)and second times after operation(4 weeks),before treatment(0 weeks)-the end of follow-up(8 week),there were significantly difference(P < 0.05);the second times after operation(4 weeks)-after the end of follow-up(8 weeks),there was significantly difference except the nasal symptoms(P < 0.05).Satisfaction Survey Questionnaire results show: The results of this study showed that the gender,age,educational level,severity of the disease,the previous treatment satisfaction and overall satisfaction were not statistically significant(P> 0.05).Unconditional logistic regression analysis showed that Health education impact,service attitude,privacy protection,professional level,convenience,treatment effect is the main factor affecting the satisfaction(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Catgut implantation at acupoint can improve the quality of life of AR patients.There are some factors affecting patient satisfaction,such as the effect of treatment,the attitude of the researchers,the professional and technical level of the researchers,the impact of health education,privacy protection,the convenience of acupoint catgut embedding.
