Objective The purpose of this study is to provide reference for mosquito disinfection work and offer a scientific basis for the prevention and control of epidemic Dengue by understanding the breeding environment and breeding container types of Aedes albopictus as well as their distribution characteristics in Guangzhou to determine the key breeding environment and container types.Method The monitoring data of the larvae of Aedes albopictus in Guangzhou during 2010 to 2017 are collected systematically.Container Index(CI)is taken as the monitoring index.The descriptive statistical analysis method is used to show the monitoring results about the density of Aedes albopictus during 2010 to 2017 in Guangzhou,calculate and describe the composition ratio and positive rate of water containers of Aedes albopictus larva in different environments.A Chi-square test is conducted on the positive rate of the containers under various environments and with/without covers.The hierarchical cluster analysis is made on the container types to measure the importance of various breeding containers in different environments.Excel 2007 and SPSS 20.0 are used.Result1.In the 2010-2017,the trend of CI was mainly in single-peak type,showing high in summer and autumn(from June to November)and low in winter and spring(from January to May and December).The peak of density was mainly concentrated in June-September per year.2.The container index of rural(12.58)is higher than that of cities(9.35)and suburbs(5.66).Plastic containers and aquatic plants account for a large proportion of positive containers in cities,suburbs and rural areas.However,the container indexes of bamboo tubes and waste tires are among the top.3.In non-residential areas,plastic containers account for the largest proportion of 26.84%,but the container index of tree holes and bamboo tubes is the highest of 27.66.In residential areas,the largest proportion is aquatic plants,accounting for 36.04%,but the container index of waste tires is the highest of 25.84.The positive rate of container in non residential area is higher than that of residential area.The positive rate of containers for waste tires,blenders and building components in residential areas are higher than that of non residential areas,and the other container types are contrary.4.In the non residential areas,plastic containers accounts for the largest proportion,which are 28.62%,25.80%,22.52% and 21.63% in organ or group units,parks,construction sites and special industries,respectively.In non residential areas,the waste tires take the highest container index which are 26.44,32.98 and 26.33 respectively in organ or group units,parks and construction industry.In the construction industry,the container index of bamboo tree hole is the highest 22.18.The container index of park is the highest 13.86,followed by the special industry 11.19,the organ or group units 10.55,and the construction site 9.31.5.Aquatic plants are grouped independently in residential areas and differ greatly from other container types.There are great differences between plastic containers and other types of containers in the organ or group units,parks,construction industry,and special industries.There are great differences between waste types and other container types in the organ or group units,construction industry and special industries.6.In both residential and non residential areas,the container index of uncovered is higher than that of covered.Except for the aquatic plants,tree bamboo,mixer,surface water and building components in residential areas and the pool,tree,bamboo and mixer in non-residential areas,there are no statistical significance of the differences among the container index of these container types.There are statistical differences between the index of the container with/without cover for the remaining container types(P <0.05),and the container index of without cover is higher than the covered.Conclusion The peak of CI density was mainly concentrated in June-September per year.The positive rate of container: rural>urban>suburb;non-residential area>residential area;park>special industry>organ or group unit >construction site.The positive number of plastic containers and aquatic plants occupy a major position in the positive containers.But the container index of waste tire is the highest,follow by tree hole and bamboo tube.Cover can effectively reduce the positive rate of the container.
