Objective:To investigate the short-term effects between two different radical operations,namely,laparoscopic-assisted radical resection for gastric cancer and traditional opening radical resection for gastric cancer in clinical diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer,so as to determine the clinical application value of specific radical treatment.Methods:130 patients with gastric cancer admitted by the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University from January 2014 to December 2015 were chosen,of which there were 15 cases of early stage gastric cancer and115 cases of advanced gastric cancer.Among all patients,laparoscopic-assisted radical resection for gastric cancer was performed for 70 patients, which was chosen as laparoscopic group, while traditional open surgery for gastric cancer was performed for 60 patients, which was chosen as open group.Comparative analysis on differences between the two groups was made in aspect of operative time, intraoperatve blood loss, number of lymph node dissection, postoperative complications, postoperative discharge time, eating time and length of hospitalization time. Results:There is no statistical significance(P>0.05)between patients in laparoscopic group and those in open group in general information on sex,age and others. After radical resection for gastric cancer, there is no operative death in the two groups.Patients in laparoscopic group have operation time of(246.3 ± 45.5)min,while those in open group have operation time of(212.8 ± 43.3)min;operative time in laparoscopic group is significantly longer than that in open group, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.01).Patients in laparoscopic group have intraoperative blood loss of(148.6±33.4)ml,while those in open group have intraoperative blood loss of(189.7±32.4)ml;the amount of blood loss in open group was significantly more, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.01).The number of lymph node dissection in patients of laparoscopic group is(17.67 ± 4.32),while that in open group is(17.43± 4.88);there is no significant difference and has no statistical significance(P>0.05).There are five cases with postoperative complications in laparoscopic group, and the complication rate is 7.14%(5/70),while the complication incidence rate in open group is 6.67%(4/60);the difference has no statistical significance(P>0.05).Postoperative discharge time in laparoscopic group is(2.6±0.5)d,while that in open group is(3.8±0.6)d;postoperative discharge trime in open group is longer, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05).Patients in laparoscopic group had eating time of(2.7±0.8)d,while those in open group had(4.6±0.6)d;eating time in open group was longer than that in laparoscopic group and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05).Patients in laparoscopic group has length of hospitalization time of(15.6±2.6)d,while those in open group has(25.4±3.2)d;length of hospitalization time in open group was longer than that in laparoscopic group, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.1n terms of safety and feasibility,laparoscopic-assisted radical resection for gastric cancer can reflect its own advantages of minimal invasive, featured with less intraoperative blood loss, lower invasive, and postoperative fast recovery, safe and feasible.2.As for curative effect,laparoscopic-assisted radical resection for gastric cancer can achieve the same therapeutic effect as traditional open surgery for gastric cancer and there is minor difference between it and the traditional open surgery in radical resection of tumor, thereby being effective in the radical resection of tumor.3.Since the laparoscopic-assisted radical resection for gastric cancer itself also has problems of longer operation time, greater difficulty in operation, uncertain long-term effects and so on,the research and analysis of this topic will still be the focus and hot-spot in surgical and clinical study of gastric cancer in the future.4.Laparoscopic-assisted radical resection for gastric cancer is superior to traditional open surgery for gastric cancer in the short-term efficacy, which provides an important reference value and guiding significance for us to further promote and apply laparoscopic-assisted radical resection for gastric cancer in the future.
