The Study Of Observing The Effect Of Gang Huo Anti-Influenza Decoction In The Treatment Of Influenza In Lingnan District

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction in the treatment of influenza in Lingnan District with the aim of providing more specific and representative treatment as well as clinical basis for the remedy of influenza in Lingnan District.MethodsThe research adopts a prospective clinical method.90 flu patients were chosen between March to July 2015 and were randomly divided into three groups:Oseltamivir Phosphate Group,Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction Group,Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction and phosphate oseltamivir Group,30 cases in each.The three groups were treated for 3 days.If the patient has a fever of more than 38.5 degrees,he/she will be treated with the acetaminophen.The patients were reminded to drink plenty of water and take good rest during the treatment.The body temperature and clinical symptoms before and after the treatment were put into statistical analysis.ResultWithin the Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction Group of 30 cases,12 cases were cured,which accounted for 40%;18 cases were significantly effective,accounting for 60.00%.Within the Oseltamivir Phosphate Group of 30 patients,11 cases were cured,accounting for 36.67%;17 cases were significantly effective,accounting for 56.67%;2 cases were effective,accounting for 6.67%.Within the Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction and Phosphate Oseltamivir Group of 30 patients,11 cases were cured,which was 36.67%,19 cases were significantly effective,acccounting for 63.33%.All the 30 cases in this Group were proved to have an effective result.The Oseltamivir Phosphate Group can be effective on curing the following syndromes:the aversion to cold,fever,body aches,sore throat,thirst,runny nose,stuffy nose,sweating;but for relieving cough,the effect was not significant(P>0.05).The Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction Group can effectively relive the symptoms of influenza(P<0.01).The Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction and Phosphate Oseltamivir Group can significantly relieve:the aversion to cold,fever,body aches,headache,sore throat,thirst,runny nose,stuffy nose,sweating(P<0.01).It can also relieve cough symptoms(P<0.05).All of the three treatments can effectively shorten the cooling time of a fever without significant difference between and among the groups.(P>0.05).Three groups in the treatment of aversion to cold,fever,headache,body aches,sweating,sore throat,nasal congestion,runny nose had no significant difference(P>0.05).The Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction Group in relieving thirst symptoms was better than the Phosphate Oseltamivir Group and the Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction and Phosphate Oseltamivir Group(P<0.0167).Compared with the Phosphate Oseltamivir Group,the Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction and Phosphate Oseltamivir Group had no difference in relieving thirst symptoms(P=0.856).Compared with the oseltamivir phosphate Group,the effect of the Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction Group was better in relieving cough symptoms.(P<0.0167,the figure has statistical meaning),and was much cheaper.Among the other groups,pairwise comparisons don’t have a significant difference.ConclusionThe Oseltamivir Phosphate,the Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction as well as the combined treatment of the Gang Huo Ant-influenza Decoction and phosphate oseltamivir can effectively cure influenza and shorten the duration of the flu.The effect of the sole treatment of the Gang Huo Anti-influenza Decoction is comparable with the effect of the phosphate oseltamivir and is much cheaper than Western medicine.Therefore,it was worth popularizing in clinic.
