A Study On Pain Beliefs,Negative Emotions And Quality Of Life In Patients With Primary Tigeminal Neuralgia And Their Correlation

Objective1 To investigate the present situation of pain belief,negative emotion and quality of life in patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia;2 To explore the influencing factors of quality of life in patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia;3 To explore the relationship between pain belief,negative emotion and quality of life in patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia.MethodsThis study was a cross-sectional study.The research object was 106patients diagnosed as primary trigeminal neuralgia from a hospital departments of neurosurgery and neurology through random sampling methods.The study used the General Information Questionnaire,the General Pain Intensity Scale,the Pain Beliefs and Perceptions Inventory,the Irri-tability Despression and Anxiety Scale,the Quality Of Life Scale of Trigeminal Neuralgia.All data input and analysis was used by SPSS19.0 statistical software questionnaires.Statistical methods included descriptive analysis,single factor variance analysis,t test,multiple linear regression,Pearson correlation analysis,Spearman.Results:1.Primary trigeminal neuralgia patients quality of life score was（78.20±11.13）,as the attack score（20.26±3.90）,somatic symptoms score（26.88±4.61）,the psychological score（14.61±2.50）,the social dimension score（16.44±3.92）.The dimension scores were classified as:body symptom dimension>attack dimension>social dimension>psychological dimension.2.The result displayed that primary trigeminal neuralgia negative emotion total score was 17.67±7.81,the positive rate of depression22.6%,the positive rate of anxiety 11.3%,the anxiety irritability positive rate 17%and the negative emotions was very severe.Pain belief total score was normal distribution,the belief of pain in general situation:0.057±0.474,patients feel pain very mysterious highest score of faith,a median of 0.5.3.Single factor variance analysis showed that there was statistical significance in different age groups,different payment mode group and different course group,different groups and different pain 24 hours the worst pain degree of different group,24 hours average level of pain group,different degree of pain now group patients quality of life score difference,multivariate linear regression analysis showed that the course of disease,pain,average level of pain in the regression equation.（（?）= 57.04+4.91X₃-3.139X₄+5.86X₅）.To explain the variance of quality of life（QOL）of 37%patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia（F=19.97,P=0.000）.4.The dimension of"pain is mysterious"had a positive correlation with the quality of life（P<0.01）,and the correlation coefficients were0.338,0.359,0.285,0.370,respectively.There was no correlation between the total score of pain beliefs、the other 3 dimensions and the quality of life（P>0.05）.5.The negative emotion and life quality scores were positively correlated,and were positively correlated with the other three dimensions in addition to the social dimension of the（P<0.01）,the correlation coefficients 0.519,0.538,0.516,0.448;negative emotion internal irritation factor and quality of life in 4 dimensions and total score were positively correlated（P<0.05 or P<0.01）,the correlation coefficients0.475,0.430,0.289,0.222,0.427;negative emotion,depression factor,anxiety factor,extraversion irritability in three dimensions and total score of quality of life and the social dimension abroad were positively correlated（P<0.01）,the correlation coefficients 0.406,0.402,0.421,0.409.0.441,0.406,0.351,0.410,0.398,0.310,0.289,0.332.Conclusion:1.The quality of life of the patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia is at a poor level,and the main factors affecting the quality of life are the course of disease,pain and pain;2.The negative emotion problem of 2 primary trigeminal neuralgia patients with severe negative mood,the more serious the quality of life of patients with worse pain to beliefs about pain as mystery,belief and quality of life of the patients with pain had no significant relationship.
