Magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging(MRSI)is a medical imaging technique that combines magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and magnetic resonance spectroscopy(MRS).MRI provides anatomical information and MRS provides metabolite information.MRSI can detect the disease non-invasively and in the(supper)early stage,so it has great application prospects.Currently,MRSI failed in clinical application because of the limitations of data quantification methods,the interference of water-lipid signals and other problems.This paper focuses on two issues of data quantification methods and water-lipid suppression.At the same time,we develop a set of software used to quantify MRSI data and reconstruct metabolites image.Firstly,we improve the accuracy and speed of quantification parameters for the time-domain method based on Hankel matrix and frequency-domain method based frequency selection.We analyze the accuracy and the speed of the quantification parameters with different Hankel matrix size and different sampling points for HSVD,HLSVD,HLSVDPRO time-domain methods.We find the highest accuracy and shortest time when the number of Hankel matrix columns is 3/4 sampling points and the number of sampling points is 512.We also analyze the accuracy and the speed of the linear quantification parameters with different P and different noise for frequency selection frequency-domain methods.Experiments show that the best linear parameters and the shortest time-consuming when the P is 3.Meanwhile,we compares HLSVDPRO time-domain and SELF frequency-domain method.Time-domain method has high accuracy but takes longer time,frequency-domain method has shorter time but has lower accuracy.Then,we propose the maximum amplitude of water suppression method and frequency selection of water-lipid suppression method,they effectively suppressed water signal and lipid signals.The maximum amplitude of water suppression method is based on time-domain.It can suppress water signals thoroughly,simultaneously with the quantification processing,no additional processing time,it can also be combined with different time-domain quantification methods.Frequency selection of water-lipid suppression method is based on frequency-domain.It can suppress the interferential component without influences on the other components,and the method is flexible.Finally,we develop a set of software for MRSI data quantification and metabolites image reconstruction under Matlab platform.It can achieve clinical MRSI data time-domain and frequency-domain quantification.It can combine MRSI and MRI image spatial positioning.It can acquire quantification results of single voxel MRSI data.It can also display metabolite image.We propose a newer method of pseudo-color display metabolites according to the characteristic data of interest.At the same time,we makes MRSI metabolites data and MRI data in fusion images,completes combined with metabolites information and spatial information. |
