Objective:To investigate the difference of scanning effect between pure titanium and cobalt chromium dental restorations using cone beam CT model in vitro and evaluate the extent of artifact in CBCT images. Methods:the application of cone operation CT scan 3 specifications(3.3 mm *3.3 mm *10 mm,4.1 mm *4.1 mm *10 mm and 4.8 mm *4.8 mm *10 mm)metal mold body model,6position(anterior and premolar area and molar area,so each one of the 18 body model)the cobalt chromium alloy and 18 pure titanium dental implants, comparative analysis of the CBCT image area of different materials, different specifications, different positions of the value(STEST),the actual value of the cross-sectional area(SCONTROL),S value, metal artifact value(PS).Determine the difference between the two materials. Results:the cone beam CT values of cobalt chromium alloy and pure titanium metal were different from those in physical measurement, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).The difference in cone beam CT measurements between the different diameters of the same material was statistically significant(P <0.05).The difference in cone beam CT measurements between the different locations of the same material was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.CBCT images, the images of two kinds of metal pillars,CO Cr alloy and pure Ti,show different degrees of radial or stripe stripes, which affect the image recognition.2.CBCT image, the same metal material in different positions, the metal artifact will not change.3.CBCT images, the same metal material increases with the size(diameter),and the amount of artifacts between the two metals tends to decrease.4.cone beam CT images, the scanning accuracy of pure titanium materials is higher than that of cobalt chromium alloys.
