Objective: Obstructive sleep apnea hypoventilation syndrome(OSAHS)refers to recurrent upper airway obstruction during sleep, resulting in apnea, decreased blood oxygen saturation, and wakefulness.OSAHS can increase the incidence of hypertension and diabetes, leading to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and sudden death in severe cases. Therefore, early identification and treatment of OSAHS is essential.Currently, screening and diagnosis of OSAHS are mainly dependent on respiratory and sleep monitoring, but the detection rate is not high because of the cumbersome inspection techniques. The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of serological markers in OSAHS patients and their correlation with the disease, and to seek for the convenience, sensitivity and economic biochemical screening indicators of OSAHS.Methods:A total of 30 patients with OSAHS were selected from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University from September 2016 to December2017(OSAHS group),including 16 males and 14 females with age(57.4±27.9).In the control group, there were 30 cases, including 15 males and 15 females, with age(55.8±25.7).The OSAHS group was divided into light group(13 cases)and moderate and severe group(17 cases)according to AHI.Using flow cytometry, scattering turbidimetry, latex agglutination turbidimetry fasting venous blood for the first time in hospital, chemical shielding method and record the average blood platelet volume(MPV),platelet/lymphocyte ratio(PLR),neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR),fibrinogen(FIB),D-dimer,hypersensitive c-reactive protein and mononuclear cells and high-density lipoprotein(HDL)than(MHR),compare the differences between the two groups,As for the difference of serological markers, the relationship between serum concentration and severity of osahs was further analyzed. Results statistical processing was performed using SPSS19.0 software, and the data with statistical difference was analyzed by logistic regression of duality. Results:Compared with the control group, the level of hypersensitive c-reactive protein,MHR,d-dimer were significantly increased, and the differences were statistically significant(t=2.016,2.937,2.105,P=0.048,0.005,0.04).There was no statistically significant differences between MPV,NLR,FIB and PLR(t=-1.688,-0.473,0.739,0.161,P=0.097,0.638,0.739,0.873).Statistical differences of the independent variable for binary multiariable logistic regression analysis, the results shown hypersensitive c-reactive protein,D-dimer and there was no independent correlation OSAHS(OR = 1.372,6.405,P = 0.159,0.179),MHR associated with OSAHS independent(OR = 15.942,95% CI 15.942 to 23.697,P = 23.697).Compared with the mild group, the MHR significantly increased and the difference was statistically significant(t=2.712,P=0.011).There was no statistically significant difference between the sexes, body mass index(BMI)and age group(t=0.404,-0.648,-0.358,P=0.687,0.520,0.722).Conclusion: The increase of hs-crp,MHR and d-dimer in serum of OSAHS patients suggested that the patients may have inflammatory reaction.MHR is an independent prognostic factor of OSAHS,and the moderate and severe patients are slightly elevated, which may be used as a screening indicator for OSAHS.
