OBJECTIVE:To investigate the short-term curative effect of compound Kushen injection combined with IMRT in the treatment of locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer and the side effects of radiotherapy.METHODS : A total of 72 patients with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer who were treated in the Department of Oncology of the Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University of Engineering from September 2015 to September 2017 were randomly divided into control groups according to their treatment methods according to their treatment order(n= 37)and experimental groups(n = 37).A KPS score of 60 points or more is expected. The estimated survival time is more than 6 months and the pathological result is positive. The experimental group of patients compound Kushen injection combined with intensity-modulated radiation therapy, compound Kushen injection method of use: According to the law of tumor cell growth, radiation therapy began to give experimental compound compound Kushen injection static point, once /d,each 30 ml-40 ml,d1-10,after stopping the liquid, radiotherapy dose 5000 cGY,then give compound Kushen injection injection, the patient’s radiation response is heavier when it can increase the radiation response drugs,do not take other immune drugs during radiotherapy. Both the experimental group and the control group were given intensity-modulated radiation therapy: radiation dose 60-66Gy/30-33 F,200c Gy/time,1 time/day,5 times/week.Before treatment, the necessary examinations, such as physical examination, brain MRI,chest CT,abdominal B ultrasound, etc.,exclude distant metastasis.During the course of radiotherapy, the patient’s condition was closely monitored. One month after the end of radiotherapy, the two groups were compared and analyzed for the short-term curative effect and quality of life improvement. One month after radiotherapy, the incidence of myelosuppression was evaluated in two groups;the two groups were evaluated within 6 months of the end of radiotherapy. The incidence of radiation pneumonitis at different levels.RESULTS:In the experimental group, radiotherapy was not completed in 2 pati ents because: due to economic reasons, outpatients were stopped for radiation, both ca ses went out;the number of solid experimental group(n=35),the effective rate in the experimental group was 30/35(85.71%).The effective rate of radiotherapy alone was27/35(77.14%).The total effective rate of the two groups was P:0.54.There was no s ignificant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The improvement of the qualit y of life in the near future after treatment was compared. The experimental group was15/35(42.85 %),compared with the control group 9/35(25.71%).The improvement r ate of the two groups was P: 0.041.The improvement rate of the quality of life in the t wo groups was significantly different(P<0.05);Radiopneumonia was evaluated accor ding to the RTOG score method and the CTCAE score. The incidence of radiation pne umonitis in the experimental group was 7/35(20%)and 14/35(40%),respectively.Th e incidence of radiation pneumonitis in the control group was 15/35.(42.86%),23/35(65.71%),the incidence of radiation pneumonitis in two groups was P: 0.039,P: 0.031,and the incidence of radiation pneumonitis was significantly different between the t wo groups(P<0.05);In comparison of inhibition, the incidence rates in the experimen tal group and the control group were 14/35(40%),respectively.23/35(65.71%),incid ence of myelosuppression groups P: 0.031,two bone marrow suppression incidence o f significant difference(P <0.05).Conclusion:Compound Kushen Injection combined with IMRT can increase the curative effect of locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer, improve the quality of life of patients, reduce the side effects of radiotherapy, and can be widely used in clinic.
