Objection:By the method of three-dimentional reconstruction,measure the angle of semicircular canal,and analysis its affection to Epley respositioning procedure.Materials and methods:Obtain 15 skull specimens which contain 30 temporal bone specimens in the department of human anatomy in GXMU.After Micro-CT skaned,load three-dimentional reconstruction with the CT image.With the 3D model,measure the angle between each semicircular canal and each standard skull plane,and establish the location of semicircular canals in skull.Further more,analysis the angles,affection to Epley and Barbecue respositioning procedure with the three-dimentional model.Result:The three-dimentional model of skull and temporal bone can ditinctly show the anatomical structure.By the measurement,the plane of each semicircular cannal is orthogonal to one another;the angle of posterior semicircular duct plane:with the Frankfurt plane 71.54±6.51°,with the sagittal plane 53.77±5.360,with the coronal plane 43.33±3.56°;the angle of superior canal semicircularis plane:with the Frankfurt plane 72.94±8.87°,with the sagittal plane 42.32±2.65°,with the coronal plane 52.16±5.74°;the angle of lateral semicircular canal plane:with the Frankfurt plane 25.68±5.31°,with the sagittal plane 90.88±3.12°,with the coronal plane 68.3±6.13°.And the most affective angle to Epley respositioning procedure is the angle between posterior semicircular canal plane and the Frankfurt plane,and the angle between posterior semicircular canal plane and the sagittal plane.Conclusion:1.Angles between same side semicircular canals are not 90°,but have some sort of variation.2.Angles between semicircular canal and the standard plane of skull have slightly large variation.3.The variation of angles between posterior semicircular cannal plane and sagital plane could have affection to Epley respositioning procedure.By changing the respositioning angle in Epley respositioning procedure,we could compensate the affection of the variation of semicircular cannal plane angles.
