Objective:To research the relationship between tumor-related lymphan-giogenesis and tumor histopathology in clinical specimens of patients with common ocular malignant tumors,and to explore the relationship between lymphangiogenesis,number distribution and tumor biological behavior and clinicopathological factors,so as to provide some basis for the differentiation of benign and malignant ocular tumors of different types,and to lay the foundation for anti-neonatal lymphangiogenesis therapy to reduce the metastasis rate and mortality rate of ocular tumors in the future.Methods:Paraffin tissue samples from 89 surgically resected and pathologically diagnosed patients with ocular tumors were collected from the department of pathology which from First affiliated hospital of Kunming medical university from 2013 to 2016.Including 8 patients with malignant melanoma(MM),44 patients with basal cell carcinoma(BCC),11 patients with basal cell papilloma(BCP),6 patients with meibomian gland carcinoma(MGC)and 6 patients with mucoid-associated B-cell lymphoma(MALT).Among them,44 cases of basal cell carcinoma included 15 cases of nodular basal cell carcinoma(NBCC),8 cases of ulcer basal cell carcinoma(UBCC),20 cases of invasive basal cell carcinoma(IBCC)and 1 case of plaque-like basal cell carcinoma(MBCC)according to histopathology.Lymphatic endothelial specific marker lymphatic endothelial hyaluronic acid receptor-1(LYVE-1)was used to detect lymphangiogenesis in different types and degrees of malignancy of ocular tumor tissues by imunohistochemical Elivision method.the positive density of lymphangiogenesis in normal ocular skin and clinical histopathological data of patients were analyzed statistically.The lymphatic vessel density(LVD)of tumor tissue was counted,the correlation between the results of detecting tumor vessel density(BVD)by cd31 and the proliferation results of detecting tumor inflammatory cell density(ICD)by combining leukocyte common antigen(CD45)were analyzed.Main indexes:LVD,BVD,ICD of ocular tumor tissue.Results:(1)Positive lymphatics were observed in 88(98.9%)of 89 tumor tissue samples,but not in 1 retinoblastoma(1.1%).Among them,the density of lymphangiogenesis was the highest(59.98±11.59),followed by squamous cell carcinoma(28.17 ±9.38),retinoblastoma(21.33 ±2.20),basal cell carcinoma(20.48 ±7.60),meibomian adenocarcinoma(18.4 ±6.22)and mucosa-associated b-cell lymphoma(15.17 ±4.42),and the smallest density was basal cell papilloma(9.57 ±3.72).LVD,BVD and ICD were performed in the skin tissues of normal eyes respectively.(2)The basal cell carcinoma of the eye,basal cell papilloma and normal eyelid skin tissue were statistically significant in the comparison of LVD,BVD and ICD(P<0.05),Suggesting that the density of LVD,BVD and ICD in malignant tumor,benign tumor and normal eyelid skin tissue was different,and the density of each index in malignant tumor was higher than that in benign tumor,and the density of each index in benign tumor was higher than that in normal skin tissue.(3)In basal cell carcinoma,there was a positive correlation between lymphatic vessel density Nodular type(12.69 ±3.32),Ulcer type(19.86±5.67),Infiltration type(26.73 ±4.55)and Morphealike type(17.2 ±0),CD31 positive microvessel statistical vessel density(BVD),LVD and BVD(R1 =0.795,P<0.05),Ri2 = 0.6315,Yi = 0.8604*X + 14.67;CD45 positive inflammatory cell statistical inflammatory cell density(ICD),LVD and ICD(R2= 0.659,P<0.05),R22= 0.4341,Y2 = 7.94*X +8.79.Conclusions:(1)The detection of vascular density and lymphatic vessel density has certain diagnostic significance in ocular tumors.(2)There was a clear correlation between the density of blood vessels and lymphatic vessels in basal cell carcinoma of eyelid.(3)Detection of lymphangiogenesis by immunohistochemical method is one of the important indicators to judge the benign and malignant,degree and prognosis of ocular tumors.detection of LYVE-1 has a good guiding significance to judge the ocular tumors with different degrees of benign and malignant,and can be used as an indicator target for anti-tumor.
