Miao nationality is a nation with a long history.Relied on diligence,intelligence and harmony with nature,the Miao nationality has been stronger and stronger.A colorful Miao culture has been formed,among which,Miao medical culture is the oldest and important part.Miao medical culture is the most direct and comprehensive manifestation of the relationship between human and nature in Miao culture.It not only has a theoretical thinking of human and natural cognition,but also has a deep practice of getting along with nature.The Miao people have gone through a long and arduous migration history.Their natural environment types are diverse.In thousands of years,they formed a medical culture in close interaction with nature.Their emergence and development all come from Miao people’s deep thinking and rich practice of themselves and nature.The ecological ethics thought of Miao medical culture(including the Miao medicine theory,Miao medicine practice,Miao medicine culture,Miao culture of Health)has been studied in depth of the excavation.The research conclusion is as follows: each of the local Miao people have unique natural environment.Miao medicine culture is closely related with nature.Nature is the basis for the emergence and development of Miao medicine culture;Miao medicine theory has cognitive concept on the human body itself and the nature.Nature is not only the human resources,but also the human origin;The Miao medicine treatment method showed the thoughts of following human body’s natural resilience,the effective conservation of natural resources,the reliance of nature,and the fear of nature;Miao medicine culture reflects the association of people with nature,the emotion to animals and plants,the reverence for natural resource,and the significant ecological value orientation of thought;Miao health culture embodies the adaptation to laws of nature,advocation of simple life,and thoughts of harmony with the nature.Therefore,Miao medical culture contains rich ecological ethics thoughts,such as "natural intrinsic value,rational utilization of natural resources,protection of nature,respect and fear of life,harmonious co-existence of man and nature,etc.".The Miao medical culture have the ecological values that correspond to the ecological theory,the ecological culture view of affirming natural value and respecting nature,and the ecological practice view of protecting ecological environment.The ecological ethics in Miao medical culture have the contemporary values of promoting development of ecological ethics,raising people’s awareness of ecological ethics,and providing guidance for the practice of ecological civilization.
