Introduction: The aim of this study was to observe the effect of baseline quality of life before chemotherapy on nausea, vomiting, and anorexia in patients with malignant tumors after chemotherapy, and to observe the relationship between individual factors, clinical factors and nausea, vomiting, and anorexia in patients with malignant tumors after chemotherapy. Methods: This study included 638 patients enrolled in our thalidomide antiemetic trial from July 8,2014 to July 26,This trial is a prospective, multicenter clinical trial. Before the patients were enrolled, their age, sex, disease type, disease staging,BMI,ECOG score and QLQ-C30 baseline quality of life before chemotherapy were collected and the clinical chemotherapy regimen was recorded.Data on vomiting, nausea and anorexia occurring within 1-5 days after chemotherapy were collected.Analysis of individual factors and quality of life before chemotherapy on the incidence of nausea, vomiting, anorexia after chemotherapy. Results: Individual factors that affect vomiting after chemotherapy include staging and chemotherapy regimens;and individual factors that affect nausea after chemotherapy include age and gender;and individual factors that affect anorexia after chemotherapy include disease types, disease staging, and chemotherapy regimens. In the Quality of Life Scale, there was a weak correlation between PF,RF,SF,fatigue, nausea, vomiting, pain, insomnia, loss of appetite, diarrhea, financial difficulties,GH and overall vomiting.Among them, the worse the PF,RF,SF and GH,the greater the possibility of vomiting in the whole process;fatigue, nausea and vomiting, pain, insomnia, loss of appetite, diarrhea symptoms more severe, the possibility of occurrence of vomiting in the whole process is greater. In the QOL,PF,RF,EF,fatigue, nausea and vomiting, insomnia, loss of appetite has a weak correlation with the occurrence of nausea post-chemotherapy.Among them,PF,RF,EF worse, the greater the possibility of nausea after chemotherapy;fatigue, nausea and vomiting, insomnia, loss of appetite heavier, the greater the possibility of nausea after chemotherapy. In the quality of life scale, there was a weak correlation between PF,nausea and vomiting, pain, insomnia, loss of appetite,GH andanorexia after chemotherapy.Among them, the PF and GH worse, the greater the possibility of anorexia after chemotherapy;nausea and vomiting, pain, insomnia, loss of appetite more severe, the greater the possibility of anorexia. After multivariate analysis of meaningful factors, the effect of several of them was lost when entered into a multivariate model.Factors associated with overall vomiting were stage, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, and overall QOL.Factors associated with nausea after chemotherapy were age, gender, nausea and vomiting and insomnia.Factors related to anorexia after chemotherapy include nausea and vomiting of the Quality of Life Scale. Conclusion: Many aspects of the quality of life questionnaire had effects on vomiting, nausea and anorexia after chemotherapy, but with less impact, and its clinical application value needs further study. The individual factors that affect vomiting after chemotherapy include staging of disease and chemotherapy regimen;the factors that affect nausea after chemotherapy include age and gender;and the factors that influence the anorexia after chemotherapy include disease type, disease stage and chemotherapy regimen.
