The Application Of Neoadjuvant Therapy In Advanced Esophageal Cancer

In China,Esophageal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors of the digestive system.And the Hebei Province,which is located in North China,is one of the high incidence area of esophageal cancer.With the advancement and improvement of current medical technology,the esophageal cancer survival rate has improved,but the prognosis of this disease is still poor.At current stage,the surgery is still widely considered to be the main treatment method for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.However,in order to improve the R0 resection rate after surgery,reduce the probability of recurrence and metastasis,and to obtain long-term survival benefit,preoperative comprehensive treatment methods are carried out,which is also called preoperative neoadjuvant therapy,and now there are a number of clinical studies to explore the method of preoperative neoadjuvant treatment.This article is aiming at analyzing recent studies and advances of preoperative neoadjuvant treatment,wich is about locally resected esophageal carcinoma.
