Objective:To investigate the changes of electrically evoked compound action potentials refractory period recovery parameter, besides the reasons and clinical siginifance of the changes were analyzed. Methods:The 34 cases of the Medel's SONATA-ti100 Cochler Implant Users parti cipated in this study from January 2017 to December 2017.According to ages, they were divided into two groups:the children's group(aged 0.9 to 9)with 21 cases,th e averge age of 2.5,the adults' group(aged 15 to 32)with 13 cases, the averge age of 23.2.Recovery inter-pulse intervals(rIPIs)were recorded introperatively using th e auditory nerve response telemetry(ART)in MAESTRO 2.0.NO.2?6?10 electrod es were testedfor each patient, they represent the apical region?the middle region a nd the basal region. The electrode impedances were measured during the operation and about 2 weeks,1?2?3 months after the operation? With statistical method,t he regularity of the change of rIPI with time was researched. At the same time,th e change of the electrodes impedance with time was analysed. Results:The 17 cases of the 34 cases of patients' rIPI occured in three regions. In other.the rate of occuring was 50.00%,13 cases of children and 6 cases adults,so we can find it s rate is not high.Within our stubjects,rIPIs measured in the same time were decreasing from the apical region to the basal one(P<0.05);rIPIs were obviously different from individual to individual, and children's were generally less than adults' s,the efficient results were statistically significant differences in contrast(P < 0.05);rIPIs were gradually increasing from the operation to 1 month after the operation, then they were gradully decreasing, and they were stable until the 2 months after the operation, the efficient results were statistically significant differences in contrast at the various time(P<0.05).The change of electrodes impedance with time was almost the same as rIPIs'.Conclusion: rIPIs were obviously different from individual to individual,in addition, there was a certian correlation betweer rIPIs and ages, regions, times and so on.rIPIs measured in the same time were decreasing from the apical region to the basalone;children's were generally less than adults' s;rIPIs were gradually increasing from the operation to 1 month after the operation, then they were gradully decreasing, and they were stable until the 2 months after the operatione. We should study the change regulation. To make patients feel more comfortable in their senses of hearing,we shuold make rIPIs of the different patients with the different region and time as a reference basis.
