Cerebral palsy is a syndrome caused by non-progressive brain damages which maybe appear before birth,at birth or in early infancy, mainly manifested as central dyskinesia and delayed development. At present, there is no specific clinical treatment plan for children with cerebral palsy, and the use of rehabilitation training mode gradually changes the cognitive function and motor function of children. However, the rehabilitation effect of cerebral palsy patients largely depends on early diagnosis and early treatment.Crawling is an important phase for the development of motor function in infants. The movement characteristics of limbs and joints during the crawling process can reflect the state of motor function. Therefore, the accurate and effective assessment in infants during the crawling phase is of great significance for children with cerebral palsy to restore normal motor function and ensure quality of life. The existing evaluation methods for cerebral palsy are mainly based on scales and exercise assessment techniques. But these evaluation methods do not allow for an early quantitative assessment of children with cerebral palsy who are in a crawling stage, and they also have little relevance for evaluation of joint activity in children with cerebral palsy. This article establishes the kinematic parameters analysis method for limb jionts of infant's knee climbing through the experimental data, and comprehensively evaluates the pros and cons of knee-climbing exercise using the analytic hierarchy process, and designs application program based on it to achieve the purpose of providing reference for the early diagnosis, rehabilitation assessment and treatment of cerebral palsy in children. This article based on gait analysis method,a total of 33 cases of effective data were collected and divided into two groups(normal group: 22 cases, cerebral palsy group: 11 cases). Then, according to crawling data, effective kinematic parameters for limb joints of knee climbing are extracted and divided into four categories: basic kinematic parameters, coordination parameters, conservative parameters, and fluency parameters. Each major category contains several sub-categories,a total of 21 kinematic parameters.By analyzing kinematic parameters of two groups, the following conclusions are drawn. In the crawling process of infants, the difference in the crawling cycle mainly depends on the difference in the duration of the stance phase, but there is no significant correlation with the swing phase. And the crawling cycle is also inversely proportional to the crawling speed.Due to the top-down development law of the limb, the movement of the upper limb during crawling is more efficient, more flexible, and more fluid;compared with the normal children, the crawling cycle and stance phase of the cerebral palsy children are longer and the speed is lower. The children with cerebral palsy have inadequate coordination between limbs, lower range of motion of lower limb joints, low efficiency of movement state conversion, and poor fluidity. In order to establish a multi-index comprehensive evaluation system for the comprehensive evaluation of infant knee climbing movements, this article analyzes the differences between 21 kinematic parameters in the normal group and the cerebral palsy group, and a total of 11 parameters with significant differences are selected. Then the indicators are normalized.Using the analytic hierarchy process to adjust and determine the weight coefficient of each difference parameter, and then perform a weighted summation of the normalized parameters to obtain a comprehensive score of infant crawling in the two groups.Next, the difference between the two groups of scores was analyzed to determine the critical points for judging whether crawling was normal. Finally, the validity of the comprehensive scoring system for discriminating the knee-climbing motor function status is verified by using the correlation analysis between the comprehensive scoring result and the results of GMFM,initially to realize the identification and classification of normal infants and children with cerebral palsy, and to provide reference for the evaluation of cerebral palsy children. Finally,in order to facilitate the evaluation of the functional status of the knee-climbing movement in infants, and benefit the follow-up research and application in the lab, this paper designed a software system for knee-climbing comprehensive scoring based on the LabVIEW platform. The specific functions of the system include: inputting tester information, calculating the kinematic difference parameters for limb jionts of knee climbing, comprehensive scoring, generating reports, and invoking patient information. This article proposes an early cerebral palsy assessment method based on knee-climbing limbs and joint movement of infants. It reflects the crawling quality in the form of quantitative scores, and provides a new technical means for the diagnosis and evaluation of motor function in cerebral palsy children.
