Effect Of Music Therapy On Autistic Children

Objective: To explore the clinical effect of music therapy in Childhood Autism and provide a basis and reference for the treatment of Childhood Autism by evaluating changes of ABC,CARS,inflammatory factors,CGI and ATEC before and after treatment.Methods: Seventy cases of Childhood Autism who were admitted to hospital from May 2015 to June 2017 were divided into control group(n=35)and observation group(n=35)through random digital method.The study conformed to the fourth edition of the diagnostic and statistical manual of American psychiatric disorders about diagnostic criteria for Childhood Autism.The control group was treated with rehabilitation training and the observation group was associated with music therapy in the control group.Two groups were treated for three months continuously.Austin Behavior Checklist(ABC)of Childhood Autism was applied to evaluate treatment condition in both groups before and after treatment,including feeling,contact,body,language and life-independence.Childhood Autism Rating Scale(CARS)was used to evaluate scale changes of both groups before treatment,after one month,two months and three months of treatment.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was applied to measure tectotype plasminogen activator(tPA),plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1)and brain derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)of both groups before and after treatment and compare the clinical effect in both groups.Clinical Global Impression(CGI)was utilized to evaluate treatment condition of both groups before and after treatment,including Severity of Illness(SI),Global Improvement(GI)and Efficacy Index(EI).ATEC was applied to score and evaluate patients' treatment condition in both groups before treatment and after three months of treatment,including behavior,language,social contact and sensory perception,and then compare the curative effect before and after treatment.Results: The observation group efficiency was 94.29% and 77.14% in the control group the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the 2 groups before treatment,communication,body language,feeling and self-care score had no significant difference(P>0.05),the observation group 3 months after treatment,body feeling,communication,language and self-care scores were lower than the control group(P<0.05);the CARS score had no significant difference between the 2 groups before treatment(P>0.05),group 1 months after treatment,2 months and 3 months CARS score observation,were lower than the control group(P<0.05);the 2 groups had no statistical significance before treatment,tPA,PAI-1 and BDNF level difference(P>0.05),the observation group 3 months after treatment,tPA,PAI-1 and BDNF levels were lower than the control group(P<0.05);The 2 groups had no statistical significance before treatment,SI,GI and EI score difference(P>0.05),group 3 months after treatment SI,EI score of observation,lower than the control group(P<0.05),group 3 months after treatment,GI score of observation is higher than that of control group(P<0.05);the 2 groups before treatment ATEC score comparison there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),the observation group after 3 months of treatment,language,social behavior and perception scores were lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions: Combination of rehabilitation training and music therapy has the deal curative effect in Childhood Autism.Music therapy is contributed to enhancing patients' social contact ability,language communication skill and self-help ability,improving patients' emotion and behavior problems,improving patients' inflammatory factors and increasing clinical effect,so that patients' treatment will have more pertinence.Moreover,combination of different therapeutic method has the higher safety,so it is deserved to be popularized and applied.
