【Objective】Analysising Clinical data of 89 cases of nasal inverted papilloma,Studing on the factors of influencing recurrence.【Methods】The clinical data of 89 patients with NIP in Fujian Provincial Hospital were retrospectively analyzed From January 2001 to December 2016,The follow-up time was more than one year and the longest follow-up was 15 years.Sex,age,Krouse stage, early warning, surgical procedure, root pedicle, pathological classification, and the influence of osteositis on recurrence were analyzed.Single factor analysis: the quantitative variables were tested for normality, and the independent sample t-test was carried out after determining the normal distribution. The qualitative variables were analyzed by using Fisher exact probability method and continuity correction chi-square test by Pearson chi-square test.Multivariate analysis: the factors related to recurrence in univariate analysis were included in the two-classification Logistic regression model.【Result】1.A total of 89 cases were included in this study,74 cases without recurrence and 15 cases with recurrence. The total recurrence rate was about 17%.2.Test of normality was used to analyze the age(P=0.311),which indicated that the age was normal distribution, and the independent sample t test was carried out.3.Continuous calibration chi-square test was used to analyze the sex(P=0.69),Osteositis(P=0.837),and early warning(P=0.029).4.The accurate probability method of Fisher was used to analyze the Krouse staging(P=0.079),the pathological classification(P=0.51)and the operative method(P=0.096).5.The Pearson chi-square test was used to analyze the root pedicle.6.No early warning was an independent risk factor for relapse(P = 0.036 OR = 1.305 B = 3.689 95 % CI(1.092-12.469)),and no root pedicle was found to be an independent risk factor for recurrence(P = 0.007 OR = 1.683 B = 5.381 95 % CI(1.572-18.424)).【Conclusion】1.Age,sex,surgical procedure,Krouse stage, osteositis and pathological classification were not recurrence factors.2.For the first time, the comprehensive early warning of CT,MRI and intraoperative frozen was an important factor affecting recurrence, the absence of early warning was an independent risk factor for NIP,the likelihood of recurrence in patients without warning is 1.305 times higher than that in patients without early warning.3.No tumor root pedicle was found as an independent risk factor for recurrence of NIP.Patients without finding tumor root pedicle were 1.683 times more likely to relapse than those with finding tumor root pedicle.4.It is an important method to prevent recurrence at present by improving early warning examination, searching for the root pedicle of the tumor and dealing with it properly.5.the choice of surgical methods should be based on the principle of how to better find and manage the root pedicle and protect the function of nasal cavity.
