Objective 1.Right ventricular volume and global longitudinal strain of freewall were analyzed by real time three-dimensional echocardiography(RT-3DE).2.Analysis the correlation between right ventricular volume and global longitudinal strain of freewall were measured by three-dimensional echocardiography(3DE)and parameters were measured by conventional echocardiography in two groups.Methods 1.Subjects 30 healthy volunteers as control group,30 patients with clinical and echocardiographic diagnosis of pulmonary arterial hypertesion as pulmonary arterial hypertesion(PAH)group.2.Equipments GE Vivid E9 and GE Vivid E95 Demision ultrasound system with M5 Sc ultrasonic probe of 1.7-3.3 MHz,4V ultrasonic probe of 1.7-3.3MHz and Echo PAC work station and statistical analysis system.3.Measurement All the subjects underwent echocardiography.Then imported to 2D and 3D images to Echo PAC work station.Tricuspid ring contraction displacement(TAPSE)were analyzed by M-mode echocardiography(ME),right ventricular ejection area change rate(RVFCA)were analyzed by using two-dimensional echocardiography(2DE).Right ventricular index of myocardal performance(RIMP)and S’ were analyzed by using doppler echocardiography.Click “4D RV Volume”to measure right ventricular end diastolic volume(RVEDV),right ventricular end systolic volume(RVESV),stroke volume(SV),right ventricular ejection fraction(RVEF)and(right ventricular freewall longitudinal strain,GLS).The differences of results were compared between two groups,and correlation analysis was performed between RVEF,GLS and TAPSE,RIMP,RVFCA in two groups.Results 1.Compared PAH group and control group in age,height and weight,there were no significant differences(P>0.05).2.Compared with the control group.TAPSE,RVFCA,S’,RVEF,SV and GLS in PAH group were less than the control group(P<0.05).RIMP,RVEDV,RVESV in PAH group were greater than the control group(P<0.05).There is no significant different in SV between the control group and PAH group(P>0.05).3.All the correlation coefficients in the analysis are expressed as absolute values.A positive correlation was found between TAPSE and RVEF(r=0.46,P<0.05).A positive correlation was found between RVFAC and RVEF(r=0.93,P<0.05).There was a negative correlation between RIMP and RVEF(r=0.74,P<0.05).A positive correlation was found between S’and RVEF(r=0.69,P<0.05).A positive correlation was found between TAPSE and GLS(r=0.42,P<0.05).A positive correlation was found between RVFAC and GLS(r=0.47,P<0.05).There was a negative correlation between RIMP and GLS(r=0.53,P<0.05).A positive correlation was found between S’ and GLS(r=0.54,P<0.05).Conclusion 1.A positive correlation between right ventricular volume and global longitudinal strain of freewall were measured by 3DE and parameters were measured by conventional echocardiography in two groups.2.Right ventricle function in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertesion can be evaluated by RT-3DE.
