Objective: Pseudomonas aeruginosa(PA)is an important conditional pathogen in clinical hospital infections and is resistant to many antibiotics.Pseudomonas aeruginosa has a variety of virulence factors, and its type III secretion system plays a toxic role by secreting four effector proteins, which is the most important pathogenic mechanism of PA.This study is of great significance for the treatment and control of P.aeruginosa infection by understanding the distribution of virulence genes exoS and exoU of Pseudomonas aeruginosa type III secretion system in Xinjiang. Methods: 228 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated from the Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2017 to June 2017.The VITEK2-compac system was used for strain identification and drug susceptibility test. The paper diffusion method was used for drug sensitivity supplementation.PCR method was used for detection of exoS,exoU virulence gene. Results:Among 228 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa,178(78.07%)were positive for exoS gene,91(39.91%)were positive for exoU gene, and 21.49% of the strains carried both genes(exoU+/exoS+).A total of 30 multidrug-resistant(MDR)strains were detected, accounting for 13.16%.76.67% of the exoU-positive group was MDR,which was significantly higher than 23.33% of the exoU-negative group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The detection rate of fluoroquinolone-insensitive strains in the exoU-positive group was 57.45%,which was higher than that in the exoU-negative group(42.55%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The 30-day mortality rate of the exoU-positive group was 8.79%,which was higher than that of the exoU-negative group(4.38%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: The resistanceof P.aeruginosa is serious. The expression of exoU gene is related to multidrug resistance and fluoroquinolone antibiotic resistance.Drug resistance detection and virulence factor detection should be strengthened.
