Research On The Ethical Dilemma Of Doctor-patient Communication In China

Doctor-patient communication is the basis of medical activities,and its smoothness determines the harmonious degree of doctor-patient relationship and the quality of medical practice.Doctor-patient communication as the media of medical information exchange and emotional exchange between doctors and patients,the main body of doctor-patient communication is human,which makes it always shine with the brilliance of humanistic spirit.Therefore,in order to promote the harmony between doctors and patients,improve the quality of medical activities and improve the overall medical environment,it is necessary to analysis and restrict of doctor-patient communication from an ethical perspective.Taking the ethical dilemma of doctor-patient communication as research object,this paper analyses the ethical value and ethical attribute of doctor-patient communication with the method of combining the practice and the theory;describes the current situation of doctor-patient communication in China;and analyses the ethical dilemma of doctor-patient communication and the causes of the dilemma.From the perspective of ethics,this paper puts forward countermeasures for the improvement of doctor-patient communication.The paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction.The research background,research status at home and abroad,research purpose and significance,research methods and innovations are described.The second part is the theoretical basis.Firstly,it explains the connotation of the related concepts in this paper.Secondly,the ethical values and attributes of doctor-patient communication are emphasized to lay a theoretical foundation for the follow-up study.The third part is the investigation and analysis.In order to understand the current situation of doctor-patient communication,a questionnaire survey was conducted among doctors and patients.Based on the current situation and case studies,the ethical dilemma of doctor-patient communication in China was analyzed.The main reasons for the ethical dilemma of doctor-patient communication were summarized as follows: the contemporary limitations of medical patriarchy,the difference of knowledge reserve between doctors and patients,the relationship is becoming more materialized between doctors and patients,the moral accomplishment of the main body of doctors and patients is on the low side.The fourth part is the countermeasures.In view of the current situation and ethical dilemma of doctor-patient communication in China,this paper proposes to build a concept of medical service respecting patient autonomy and a "people-centered" doctor-patient relationship,to improve the level of medical knowledge awareness of the whole society and the moral accomplishment of both doctors and patients.
