Clinical Research Of Acupuncture Combined With Thunder-fire Moxibustion On The Treatment Of Senile Functional Constipation(Qi Deficiency Syndrome)

Purpose:The research is to compare the curative effect of two different methods(Acupuncture Combined with Thunder-fire Moxibustion and lactulose oral solution)and explore the clinical efficacy and advantages of Chinese method,in order to provide clinical guidelines and theoretical reference for the treatment of senile functional constipation.(qi deficiency syndrome)Method:72 patients were selected from Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine,aged from 60-80,which were all diagnosed with Senile Functional Constipation,and the Chinese medicine type was Qi deficiency.Each patients were randomly divided into two groups,treatment group and comparison group,which contained 36 patients.The treatment of treatment group is acupuncture combined with thunder-fire moxibustion and the treatment of comparison group is lactulose oral solution.Each two groups were treated 4 weeks.During the process of treatment,wipe out cases of loss,each two groups remain 33 patients.After 4 weeks,do a follow-up research,in order to know the physical status at that time.Observe the changes of primary syndrome score,secondary syndrome score,clinical efficiency and recurrence,and analyze the data by SPSS22.0 software in order to analyse the difference between two groupsResults:The curative effect shows that after 4 weeks treatment,there are 7 cases cured,12 cases significantly improved,8 cases effective and 6 without any effect in the treatment group The total effective rate is 81.8%;There are 2 cases cured,9 cases significantly improved,11 cases effective and 11 without any effect in the control group.The total effective rate is 66.7%and the significant difference between two groups has statistical significance(P<0.05).The treatment effect on treatment group is better than the control group.There is no statistical significance(P>0.05)in cardinal symptom except defecation interval and there is statistical significance in secondary symptom,which the effect on treatment group is better than the control group.The follow-up research indicates that the control group has higher recurrence rate.There are no side effect between the two groups.Conclusion:Both two different treatment methods can improve clinical symptoms in Senile Functional Constipation.The curative effect of the treatment group(acupuncture combined with thunder-fire moxibustion)in improving patients’ condition in secondary syndrome was much better than the control group,and with lower recurrence rate,which should be popularized in the future.
